SERIES HISTORY The Cowboys lead the all-time series with Washington, 54-32-2, and as mentioned, have dominated the Redskins of late, winning 14 of the last 15 dating back to midway through the 1997 season. The Skins' only win over the Cowboys during that stretch was a 20-14 home victory during the 2002 campaign. Dallas won 21-18 and 13-10 affairs against the Redskins in a home-and home last season. The Cowboys are 9-0 at home against the Redskins since falling to Washington at Texas Stadium in the 1995 season. Gibbs and Parcells have an extensive history together, with Parcells holding a 13-6 edge in the head-to-head series, including a win in the 1986 NFC Championship Game. Parcells has won the last eight in a row against Gibbs, as his Giants swept the Redskins in the 1988, 1989, and 1990 seasons prior to the Cowboys' sweep against Washington last year. Gibbs is now 12-14 against the Cowboys, including a win in the 1982 NFC Championship, in his career. Parcells, meanwhile, is 15-8 all-time versus the Redskins, including an 11-6 mark with the Giants, 0-1 with both the Jets and Patriots, and 4-0 since taking over the Cowboys. Washington is 2-0 against Dallas in the postseason, winning in the 1972 and 1982 NFC Championship games.
