I live in Lacy's Run in the back of Country Lakes and LOVE it.... We have not experienced any of the crime issues, except a few runaway cows occasionally.

You missed the wandering 400 pound pigs? :jameo:

Oh I had totally forgotten about that. :lmao: You big ding dong.

I'm not sure what y'all put in your soil there but it grows them up pretty strong - for such fluffy looking bushes, they broke just about every peice of glass I had in the truck and was airborne briefly... just enough to hear the brakes stop screaching before they beat up my truck  I still remember seeing that red blur in my passenger window like it was yesterday, thinking... what's that????

We've had our mailbox bashed in several times throughout the years, we fixed that by purchasing a cast iron mailbox, let the little bastards take a whack at that. :jet:

I love the area and will never leave, my house is perfect for us. We don't see our neighbors unless we want to. :yay:

Oh, I'm actually in the process of doing up a website for Country Lakes. http://www.countrylakescommunity.com/ I'm thinking it will be a good place for everyone to post their yard sales so they can stop putting up all those stinkin signs. It's not nearly finished so any input would be great. :yay:

Great idea! Okay, just a few ideas: how about adding found/missing pets, somewhere to post reports of vandalism/theft and links for people with home businesses.

You can start by posting a message that Animal Control has been patrolling the neighborhood in the mornings lately.

What, no section under lawn and garden on proper log splitter usage?
