Crying it out

Swaddling, white noise, pacifier, and rocking.

I never really rocked mine but the swaddling I wouldn't worry about. The white noise machine, my husband still sleeps with a bedside fan on so I think that's not a bad habit either.

The paci is something mine (at just 1 still has). I know that it's bad and blah, blah but if it helps him sleep right now with teething and such I'm not taking it away just yet.

Maybe try shortening periods of rocking until it's non existent.

Anyway, I'm done with this thread. Everyone has their own parenting ideas, techniques, and beliefs.

I get enough crap from my mother. I told her I will do it my way. If I ask her opinion, fine, But otherwise, I'll handle it my way.

:yay: And you know him best....So no matter what anyone else says...You'll do what's right.

And BTW my mom was the SAME way. :lmao:

He's your baby and you have every right to raise him as you see fit, :yay: I hope you didn't think anyone was trying to say you were doing it wrong, I think they were just trying to offer you some suggestions. Every child is different, and every childs needs are different. My baby didn't sleep through the night until she was nearly 18 months, doesn't mean I was a bad mother, turns out she has difficulty with fluid in her ears nearly all the time.

Speedy, do what you think is right in your heart. Sounds like the little man is loved alot, and that's the most important thing you can give him. :huggy:

I think that's your best bet. You live with the little guy and know him better than anyone else. Plus, babies are always frustrating in one way or another. They have communication issues.
