It wasn't that long ago that interracial relationships were considered taboo. In 1957, segregationists claimed that interracial relationships were "a communist plot to destroy 'white America'." Jerry Falwell was a huge proponent of segregation and stated that "race mixing" would destroy "our race." Here it is 2007 and interracial relationships are no longer taboo.

So let me get this straight... just in case I think I've got it wrong...
The book, which simply illustrated a way for a child to understand the situation if it were to happen to them (and it happens every day... that's why there's hundreds of books about it), is morally offensive to you and therefore you took it upon yourself to throw it in the garbage?
Seriously, with people like you we don't need to worry about fighting the war on terror in other countries... you're becoming a terrorist just like the man in the white house.

Some of the people I love with all my heart happen to be gay. They have children that I love as well. I have been blessed to have friends and family that I love unconditionally. They happen to be amazing, caring people. Dork wouldn't make a decent pimple on their ass.

As an open bisexual woman and as an advocate for gay rights and equality, you tell me how else I am to view the man in charge other than a bumbling idiot and terrorist who pushes his agenda by implying the homosexual lifestyle is completely immoral and using the bible as his weapon of choice?
