Dallas (and their fans) don't put NEARLY the emphasis on the Redskins as goes the other way.
You think Dallas gives a crap if the Skins make it to the playoffs?

Being a lifelong 'Skins fan there is something I need to get off my chest. A lot of 'Skins fans are as obnoxious as the 24/7, 12 month coverage they(team), get from all the D.C. media...It' ok to talk trash and support your team, but a lot of our fans do not know or care about any other team in the league. I can see why some people learn to hate our team and us fans. I'm just saying, to be fair to the other teams and players, and by all means root for our team......but give the other guys a little respect to. Wheew....I see a little red in the air coming my way for this.

...it is for the most part very true; they beat us way more than we beat them so they expect to beat us which takes a great deal of the emphasis off the games. Our biggest claims against them are the playoff wins.

That's right. Dallas has a bye next week and after that they take on the lowest remaining seed.
THEN the excitement level ratchets up around here; DC does Dallas.

Tell that to Jimmy Johnson. He said just a few weeks ago how the rivalry between the two teams is the closest one can get to a college rivalry.
It is huge in Dallas and the rivalry is both directions. The current Dallas head coach may not give a damn, but the owner sure as hell does and so do their fans.
