You go out on a date with someone to a nice restaurant to eat, then out for a few drinks.
But from the time this person got into the car, until the time to go home, they were constantly either talking on the cell or texting.

What do you say to someone like this and when do say it?

And at the end of the night this person also says they had a good time and wants to do it again.:faint:

Do what? Talk and text someone else?
Maybe she is nervous and uses her phone the way others might use a cigarette. Calmly hold her hand that has the phone in it and ask her nicely to turn it off.

been there...:lmao: the talking is really rude...at least the texting isn't as bad, so u can still sorta carry a convo. as for what to say...i don't know. ask them nicely to stop? most of the time they dont realize they're doing it because they're addicted to their cell phone. Once they notice, they will probably try to stop and realize they are being inconsiderate. It'll still happen cuz they'll forget, but it'll improve. If it doesn't get better or they dont care...cya!

"See you in class tomorrow..."

They were there on a date with you, not the phone. If someone did that to me, I probably wouldn't make it thru dinner without walking out. It's beyond rude to be ignored like that.

I would say: "The only way I would go out with you again is if there was some skull waiting for me at the end of the date."

I send her a text message saying that "from now on....we'll date, via text messaging."

It's cheaper anyway.

I know a few girls like this and depending on who it is I either say the phone stay's in the car tonight (if we are out to dinner) or with some I just go ahead and text people as well

Its VERY rude to be next to someone and start texting others especially the opposite sex, but it happens and I usually chalk it up as a "next" type of deal. But of course certain situations call for different choices.

Its a your call kinda deal, if you like her then give it another shot, if she is just a girl then ohwell its just a girl, Im pretty sure there are other girls out there.

only cheaper if u have free text messaging...otherwise, the way some women text these days, it can be REALLY expensive. i found that out the hard way and after 2 months, had to swap to an unlimited plan.

:yeahthat: If you didn't say anything through, I just wouldn't set up another date or even answer the phone.

Otherwise, if I was picking them up, we wouldn't have made it to the restaurant before I said something.

Or send them a text a few minutes into dinner/whatever telling them to get the hell off of the phone.
