kids shouldn't be introduced for a least a year.

I thought she said they were moving out of the 'dating' phase.Qpid said:that along with the kids getting attached to her male "friend" only to have it fail months later and not only will she be dealing with a broken heart...so will her kids.
You NEVER bring your kids around someone you are just "dating" aka "fawk buddy".

Better hope the kids don't hear.rack'm said:That's makes him a Great fawk buddy.....
I thought we were talking about "meeeting" not "integrating". But then again there are very few stages these days. Most of the time now the kids meet the "new person" when the "new person" walks through the livingroom with messed up hair the next morning leaving.Qpid said:that along with the kids getting attached to her male "friend" only to have it fail months later and not only will she be dealing with a broken heart...so will her kids.

Ewww. My friend lives like that - in and out of "relationships" which she brings home and pushes on her kid as "a great guy". Of course a few weeks later he's a "dirty rotten SOB". She wonders why her kid doesn't warm up to the latest one. The kid is smart.Pete said:I thought we were talking about "meeeting" not "integrating". AHA!! You have conservative leanings! I KNEW IT!Qpid said:a shame isn't it???
thats why she needs to be careful.
If they are moving to that next serious stage...the kids STILL shouldn't meet until they are serious at least 6 months to a year.
