stay away from waldorf... I know one that charges about $1100/mo. for infants and between 800-1000 for toddlers... insane! People are running around trying to farm their kids out to the cheapest provider too. They may not have alot of options, but i'll go with Appy's decision.. home business...

You'd better get serious, find one, and sign a contract. If you wait until the last minute you'll be hosed.

I know. I have been talking to both of these places, and have told them when I plan on everything and they have been fine with it. But I fully understand that if someone else comes along, they will take them if it means the money right now. Once I hit the "safe" mark from the dr, I will put something in concrete. Only have a few more weeks.

Just to give you an example....One of the infants in the day care my kiddos go to turns 2 in Aug and that infant slot she was filling is already taken. If ya find one you really like, I would take it.

Up until I decided to stay at home I was paying $125 per week for an infant and that was a good price. When I called around for quotes the average was $175-200 per week. Good luck. Depending on what area you are in, my ex-provider has an opening. She's great!

Well the interviews were definatly interesting. Little chicklet didn't like the first woman at all and I got really werid vibes about the place. So we checked that one off. The second place was sort of messy and not a lot of kids which is a good thing a lot of one on one time except the lady wants a month deposit which I've never heard of. So it looks like for right now we stay where we are and keep looking. Thanks for everyone's input.

Are you looking for a place down in the Park?

When my daughter was 5 and in a daycare with a gazillion other kids I paid $366 bi-weekly. She was gone, though, for 3 hours a day at school.
