I had all of mine cut out at once (the best way to do it if you can afford it and/or your insurance covers it) and it hurt for about a week. I didn't get dry socket Thank God! And thanks to being scared of dry socket I quit smoking, but being the little nicotine addict that I am that only lasted 4 years.... Don't be scared. You'll find that 1 week of discomfort is a small price to pay for not having to worry about it ever again!

LOL Didn't mean anything bad about it - I really liked them there, and they took care of all 4 of my wisdom teeth.

Starcat, I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time by NIH for free (they just get to keep your teeth for expirmental purposes afterwards) It didn't hurt at all I was eating chinese for dinner that night and was smoking about 2 hours after. Try call National Health Inst for information. It's a drive but well worth it

I went this morning and saw Dr. Pesin at Neibauer <sp> Dental. I have to go back on Thursday morning to have it pulled. He said it doesnt look like there is anything wrong with it, aside from it trying to come in crooked and its hitting my back tooth. He said the reason it hurts is because I keep biting my cheek. He gave me a prescription for Valium <sp> and sent me on my way.

Nope, once I stopped shaking in the chair, I was good to go, and got to leave. It was so long because tomorrow they are only there in the afternoon and Wednesday they could only do 7AM which wasnt gonna work. I left a comment on your myspace, read it lol and turn your IM on, if you can safely do so, in the next few minutes before I leave.
