Tell that to a wolf or a coyote.

Any idea what the life expectancy is of either of those two animals? I'll give ya a hint... The AVERAGE life expectancy of a fox in the wild is 9 months.

The leading cause of natural death is wolves killing each other, often over territory disputes. Starvation, disease, and accidents also take their toll. The average life expectancy of a wolf is only three to four years.
Found that. Nothing about red meat.

Dogs are not made to eat raw meat nor are they mad to eat people food. That is why there is DOG food!!!
Thank God the commercial dog food was finally introduced to grocery store shelves in the 1950's, I wonder what the poor dogs ate before then! whew! We can really thank all those food makers for providing animal by- products, chemicals/perservatives & sawdust into our beloved pets diet! I am so glad they made that nutrious food to save all our dogs! :sarcasm:

Found this on Coyotes:
Coyote life is extremely precarious; less than one half of all juvenile coyotes live to reach adulthood. Those that do manage to survive have a life expectancy of ten to fifteen years.
