Dessert was peach pie (Mrs. Smiths) with vanilla ice cream. I made shrimp and sausage jambalaya on Saturday, had that for dinner Saturday and Sunday.

Smoked pork loin on kaiser roll. We have a pit master at work and he brings in samples for the coworkers he likes.

I'm pretty sure I killed it outright by the damage to my truck. I kept going until I could get to someplace lighted to check the damage. I was going to return to the scene of the crime but he took out my auxiliary transmission cooler.

Defrosted chicken. Ran down to the store to get something I needed and ended up with Wendy's. It smelled good, so I couldn't wait.

Thanks GW. The truck is just a work horse, not a looker anyway. I was going to replace the grill, but now I'll need a bumper to boot and a trans cooler.

You're going to have nightmares tonight aren't you? I hit a kid on a bicycle outside Papa John's one day. I saw that kid in my dreams for nearly two months after that. It freaked me out.

I hope the kid was alright! I couldn't imagine hitting a child. I'm glad the dreams finally passed.

Where'd you hit it?

I was on route 238 between 234 and 242 around Chaptico Wharf Rd. I've seen deer in the area, but didn't think I'd ever nail one. Can't happen to me, right?
