I'm in Charlotte Hall we lost power at 5:30am this morning and it came back on at 8am.


I'm off rt 234 near Wicomico Shore/Budds Creek

just came up 301 from st marys to pg county... st marys is fine roads just wet.. lil messy @ mattowoman-beantown road.. 301 north take your time, stay in the cleared tracks you will be ok... a lot of signal lights out

We lost our power for about an hour. We're in the New Market area of Mechanicsville, not quite Charlotte Hall. My brother is on Golden Beach Road, not quite in GB itself. He's been out of power all morning.

Do the schools even have power?

They are still reporting a 2-hr delay. If they were going to change that, they'd need to have done it by now. The high school buses are due to be out now aren't they?

OK, the local high school bus came in exactly 2 hours later than normal. The Middle school bus came 2 hr and 20 minutes... 20 minutes late and hauling ass... in and out in less than 2 minutes for what normally is at least a 5 minute trip considering that they have to turn around.

spoke to soon.......without power now since my prior post stating it came back on.....Guess I Jinx'd myself..Errrrr

Power line laying across trinty road down.....road is closed...along with Dubois Road.


Thank God for generator's . Especially with all 3 kids home! :jameo:

We lost power in Wicomico this morning but it came back on. That's why I came to work, because I knew my dragon would have her heat. Now I'm worried about her. I'd call neighbors to see if there's power but the phones were still out when I left. :frown:

They are closed for all classes today thru tonight.
Their website did say open after 5:30pm, but they just changed it to closed all day.

i saw SMECO working on rt 234 near Wicomico Shores entrance around 11am so maybe you in luck!

Were stuck until they fix the line on Trinty Rd. Errr Still laying there as of 1pm! :burning:

I ended up w/ the day off too. No power in White Plains and the supervisors that were there didn't pull a phone list out until 10 am. :ohwell: But I did get some easy time. :yay:
