Does anybody like their kids?

I am so blessed to be a stay at home MOM. I am also a single mom and it makes for hard times...but it is so worth it!
Example: I forgot it was Fri and I didnt pack her lunch (no food at her school on Fri) . I zipped to school and delivered her lunch. How guilty I would feel if I was still working in Hyattsville and couldnt bring her lunch.

How do you do it? I mean, you're a single, stay at home mom. How do you pay the bills, put food on the table, clothes, soap and shampoo? Working mom's of the world need to know!

How is that getting 'ripped off?'
I've now had 3 ppl tell me that there daycare hours are longer than mine. I'd like to have more of an option of times to work. I cannot get to work any earlier than 7:30 because I can't drop my son off until 7. I can't work any later than 5 because I have to pick him up by 5:30.

I think the 10 hours you have is PLENTY.

She could do like nomo did... Each kid is part time. She only has to pay for one 'slot' that way. One boy gets to be inside the daycare in the morning, the other boy gets to use the daycare all afternoon. It took them a couple days to get the hang of it, but they caught on quickly once they realized it meant at least a half day in a cozy place with working plumbing...

Not an option. She's great with my son and I love her! I just wish she would extend her hours. But, I understand why she doesn't! She needs a life too!
