Does anybody like their kids?

She could do like nomo did... Each kid is part time. She only has to pay for one 'slot' that way. One boy gets to be inside the daycare in the morning, the other boy gets to use the daycare all afternoon. It took them a couple days to get the hang of it, but they caught on quickly once they realized it meant at least a half day in a cozy place with working plumbing...
They already have lymes disease so I don't even have to spring for bug spray during the summer months. It's great.

I've now had 3 ppl tell me that there daycare hours are longer than mine. I'd like to have more of an option of times to work. I cannot get to work any earlier than 7:30 because I can't drop my son off until 7. I can't work any later than 5 because I have to pick him up by 5:30.
I'm sorry you feel that way. The quality of my daycare provider is far more important to me than the hours.

I did, but that's beside the fact. You made a reference to the hours your daycare provider is open and you felt you were getting screwed.

She is right, SG. And something you didn't consider... a daycare with such flexible hours as 6 a.m to 6 p.m. doesn't expect parents to leave their kids there for a 12 hour period. They usually expect the standard 9-10 hours, but they offer flexiblity as to whether the kids are dropped off early and picked up in the afternoon, or dropped off later in the morning and picked up later in the evening.

I'd pay extra if she would!

You won't be wanting to work 10 hour days one that 2nd one arrives and the 1st born hits school. You seem to have no idea of what extra time you are going to need once he hits school age.

I realize this now. Especially once I saw she was willing to pay more so that she could work longer hours to make more... it really doesn't add up. I quit.
