Does anyone know what's going on around the Lexington Park Post Office?

If I am not mistaken I think Nick was in a motorcycle accident sometime back which caused some brain injury. Not 100% sure but that is what I was told by several people. Not that I am excusing what he did but when someone has had a brain injury it does impair things to a point. I have a cousin that has brain injury and there are somethings that he does that he doesn't realize what he is doing or the price he will have to pay for doing them.
So in this cause yes I would fight tooth and nail!
Is a retard less guilty of murder?

I know, it was a rhetorical question... if you did have a child who had brain disorders, or not, how would you know if they were a danger to society? Sometimes it's hard to tell until it's too late (sometimes not, I realize that).
As a parent, you should know your child, right?

Mental instability should NEVER be a defense.. sane or insane, danger to society? They deserve a little prick..

As sad as it may be, I have a sneaking suspicion they'll use that as their defense.

Nick has reached a certain age and did what he wanted. Therefore he should hire his own defense. I'm thinking Momma is feeling guilty for covering up for his problems and that is why she is getting him a defense attorney. She's guilty too.

I wonder if Momma knew about his marijuana charge?

I don't think pot would "make" anyone murder someone. Worst case scenario, you would giggle, eat and then fall asleep :lmao:

Headsplitting for one..

I can't joke about it, it really is disturbing and gut wrenching. I feel very sad for the family...they have A LOT ahead of them.

Wasn't it the Unibomber whose own brother turned the cops onto him?

I suppose we ignore creepy behavior in our loved ones because we don't want to believe they're really wacked out and possibly dangerous. But Jabba's story about the child rapist whose parents and wife are sticking right by him even though the guy confessed - that stuff just makes me livid.

Wifey saw the light shortly after it all began (took a LONG time for the news to get to me), thank goodness. The parental units (a.k.a. scum of the earth!!!) are still somehow affording a lawyer and haven't checked up on their innocent grandchild yet. :jameo:

I have to seriously disagree. I mean come on RR.:smack:

I'd call them scumbags but that would be a disservice to...bags...full...of...scum.

Pigs live in their own 5hit. Therefore, they will condone what their own 5hit does.

From what I hear, the one thing that inmates absolutely hate are child molesters. Maybe he'll get a good dose of his own medicine (if ya know what I mean.)

Yes Wifey did see the light...and no she most definatly is not hanging on to a damn thing in that sense. But those lovely scrum of the earth parental units are something else. The affording a lawyer is only half of the ordeal that these people have done.

You're absolutely right. Any 16 year old child/man who does this type of crime clearly wasn't guided or taught the skills of right and wrong, or morality, or what it means to injure someone. The parents of this kid failed him. They had a chance to help create and mold a valuable member of society, and instead, for whatever reason, they chose to ignore their parental responsibilities and allow their son to grow up to be a rapist. I'm sure that they must be very proud.

You're an idiot BG. You clearly did not even read the article. He wasn't a KID.. it was a thirty-something year old dude.
And you DO think it's his parents fault? :twitch:

Man, I sure hope you're on somd in 20 years when you find out that your child is NOT perfect and there's nothing you can do about it. I hope your azz gets thrown in jail for your son molesting a little girl.
