Does anyone know what's going on around the Lexington Park Post Office?

1st, why do I care what they charge for marijuana vs. marijuana laced with PCP?

2nd, did I say it was less than a gateway than any other addiction?

3rd, why do I gotta be a douche? :lmao:

I can't believe somebody bombed you with red for that!

Not if he's a danger to society.

I sure hope nothing like this ever happens to any of your children. To go from your life around you being normal to all your hopes and dreams taken away from you in a split second.

Yes, Nick's dad is still alive. Where are people getting their info?
Well, thank God for that because I could have sworn I saw him recently and when I read the post, that little voice in my head started saying "You ARE losing your mind." Phew. Thanks.

My fault for repeating. I was told years ago he wasn't alive. By two people, nonetheless.

Please try to remember the greiving families. All of the truths will be out soon enough. This speculation isnt helping anything. Our thoughts and prayers need to be with those that are greiving.

I don't see why it can't be talked about. The grieving families are most likely not sitting at home reading SOMD forums right now.

Still no excuse. The child molester I mentioned above is trying to play the, "But I was abused as a child," card. Bullsh*t!! Whether you really were or weren't, there is still no justification there.

Twist...twist...twistttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt and shoutttttttttt...
There is a man where I work at that was locked up for abusing his grandaughter and went to jail. They gave this fool work release where he drove a company vehicle toting people to and fro and even interacting with kids. Now he's out and a registered offender but they don't have to register until they are released so while on work release he was free and not many people even knew.

If they do wrong, they deserve punishment - whether they're my children or not.

If they're a danger to society, I'd assist the authorities in making sure they are put somewhere that will be safe for all parties.

How do you know if he's a danger to society? I know Nick has never shown any signs of being "dangerous" to society.

I didn't say that he was a danger to society. You have to take my comment in context. It was in response to some other posts.

I know, it was a rhetorical question... if you did have a child who had brain disorders, or not, how would you know if they were a danger to society? Sometimes it's hard to tell until it's too late (sometimes not, I realize that).

It's unreal, isn't it!! The offender that I speak of was denied work release, but tried at 2 bond reviews to get it. Thank God for that, and also for his insanely high bail amount.

I was thinking that exact same thing.

I have to tell you, if there were no doubt that my kid had committed the crime, I'd have to let them twist. I'd feel so guilty and terrible about the victim that I couldn't, in good conscience, try to get my kid off or get them a reduced sentence.

So much for “blood is thicker than water”

Are you kidding me? Blood or not, people need to be punished for crimes committed.

Agreed. However, my child is my child and my love for that child is totally unconditional. Of course, if it was within my means, I would hire the best legal team I could - especially if it meant 10 years vs. 20 years! I’m not talking getting them off scot-free but I’m also not going to let legal aid get him a life sentence either.

You don't think your child would deserve the maxium penalty if he/she commited this heinous crime? He took a life. He needs to pay for what he did, even if it means life in prison, regardless of unconditional love.
