Acting Director for Social Security Administration Steps Down After Blocking Investigation into Fraud Scheme Exposed by DOGE

Musk’s DOGE initiative has already uncovered shocking levels of fraud and corruption across multiple federal agencies, with insiders warning that Social Security is one of the worst offenders.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller has sounded the alarm on a massive foreign fraud operation that has siphoned off billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded benefits using fake IDs and fake Social Security numbers.

“There’s a massive amount of fraud in this country. You have, for example, foreign fraud rings,” Miller wrote.

“These are foreign nationals who come into the United States, they use fake social security numbers, they use fake identities to steal billions in taxpayer benefits.

Is it just me, or does she look pretty young to have been at SSA for thirty years?

Fox News admits that the next step is major refunds for American taxpayers as DOGE uncovers massive fraud and waste—money that was sent where it never should have gone. They admit it’s time to return every single penny. "Give that back to the American people, and watch the economy explode."

I am not a rich man, but I pay my bills. Don't give me back the money use it to pay down the debt.

Bullshit, people should be held accountable and follow proper procedures regardless. This is some progbot BS excuse, you're better than that
When I was in the Navy, our serial number WAS our SSN#. I don't know when that changed, or if they've done away with that since I was in, but we stenciled our last names, first initial, and SSN# on EVERY FRICKIN' THING. I've still got a seabag that underneath the marker pen cover-up, my SSN# was stenciled. Anywhere I walked in the world, there was my social security number, in full, with tack marks and everything, for anyone who knew anything to get. It was on our dogtags, and I'm almost positive it was on our IDs that we carried around in our wallets everywhere. I still carry my wallet in my front pants pocket.

It was "proper procedure" to stencil our SSN# on skivvies, covers, and just about everything else we owned.

"Well, BOP, that was a long time ago; ships were made of wood and airplanes were made of dope and fabric."

In 1998, the Big Ten University I was nearing graduation from (late bloomer) STOPPED using our SSN# for our student ID number. 1998; the early days of home computing. I think I still have a copy of that first ID. The community college I matriculated from in California had the same "proper procedure" going on. I don't know when they changed, but it was after I graduated.

The universal number that was, as far as I know, never intended to be an identifier has been used as a personal identifier for decades. And decades.

If Congress funds it can it be legally stopped is my question? I'm not so sure it can.
Allocated funds get pulled back all the time. It's not the Critters doing it, however. It's the Congressional staffers who do all the work. The Critters just slap their John Henry's on the stuff the staffers tell them to. My guess is that they only question how much they're going to make, and who they have to go make deals with.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

The huge causal problem, is that since 1998, and about 184 continuing resolutions later, to this day, Congress has failed to actually prepare and vote on a real fixed annual budget. This is why spending has gotten out of control. Those resolutions just continued to send money where it was going to prior before without any oversight. Not withstanding any specific legislation for any given spending authority in between.

I started college in 1992, the SSN was used to post grades then, then just the last four, finally they were told to stop it some time when I was in grad school in the late 90s.

BREAKING: DOGE has gained access to the Pentagon to begin the largest & most significant audit in history. According to a DOD official, some DOGE personnel attended meetings in the Pentagon on Friday. - CNN Defense Secretary Hegseth recently told personnel that an audit was a top priority. The fraud, waste, & abuse they'll find will shock many.

I carry my wallet in my front pocket, but it's because Arthur-ritis won't let me get to my back pocket any longer.

Same. My surgeon said the same thing, carrying a thick wallet in your hip pocket will kill your back. Been using the front pocket for well over 40 years.
