Morgan, I just want positive feedback....and no one has given that to me yet. Maybe I came off being an absolute b**** but I didn't mean to be. I am willing to be open minded.

I've been trying

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
I can see how some people would not like it here. While there are many things to do that are fun, this place isn't for everyone, particularly for someone coming from the city environment. Fortunately, I have many reasons to stay: family, friends, employment, and a lot of activities that make me happy. I love it here, and plan on staying until I die.

Try some activities that spark an interest, and don't be afraid to try things that you ordinarily wouldn't be interested in. Go to the Calvert Marine Museum. Try the quilt show at Sotterly Plantaiton. Check out some of the great parks in Calvert County. Tour the grounds of Historic St. Mary's City. Go out on a charter boat for a day of rockfishing. Be sure to go to the PaxRiver or Andrew's Air Force Base air shows. Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis are all very do-able in terms of really fun day trips. Dig in to a pile of hot steamed crabs alongside a cooler of cold beer. Go down to Pt. Lookout and fly kites.

Explore more than just the inside of your apartment.

See what SoMD really has to offer, and you're sure to find something to bring a smile to your face.

This is cool. :yay: We have a friend who lives near the beach and we have these parties where we get drunk, eat and then go to the beach naked and paint each other.

Don't forget the fireworks.
