"Split breasts" should be cheaper. They're a cheap cut of meat. Lots of bone.
Most places here have boneless, skinless chicken breast for that same price.

Okay, you win. Everything is way too expensive and we're all gonna starve to death.

According to my favorite cashier at Food Lion, we ain't seen nothin' yet. I've got an old dog pen attached to my shed that's looking more and more like a chicken coop. I'd always planned to make this happen, and with the way we're going, it looks more likely every day.

While it's an honest hardworking job and I assume they would be every bit as accurate as your average psychic palm reader, I wouldn't bet my portfolio on your food lion cashiers prognostication skills.

Ok, has anyone seen a SHORTAGE of eggs, anywhere? And I mean, even before the threat of a snowstorm, where Walmart gets cleaned out of bread, toilet paper and milk? And sometimes - eggs?

Because I haven't. I go to stores - and there's no cream. Or half and half. And none at the next store. But they always have eggs.

Something doesn't add up.

Not so much a shortage, more of a 'not fully stocked' shelf.
I don't know who it was that posted it, but the gist of the article is, there really HASN'T been that devastating effect of avian flu and maybe 7% of chickens were destroyed - it shouldn't make a difference.

It's just another part of the continued and intentionally controlled demolition of our Nation.

One really has to stop and think. Are those that we elect, as well as those that are hired into government so inept, so incompetent, so stupid, as to not realize and recognize what is happening, and stop it? No, they are not. The entirety of government has been bought off, or compromised, to allow what is happening, to continue to be happening. And those that have not, those honorable and patriotic few, are silenced, and marginalized. Even down to the local level. One just look to our supposed health departments for clarification on that matter. Tyrants, or cowards, who will not stand up for the people, from county commissioner boards, and county sheriffs, on up the chain.

We are a Nation in name only now, and have rulers, at every level, that use force, intimidation, coercion, intimidation, and threats, under the guise of "law". Instead of a government Of ,By, and For The People.

We are all now just slaves and fodder to the state. Property taxes being just one easy to identify element that enslaves people, by forcing them into paying tribute to the state just to be able to stay in their shelter/home, regardless of their ability to pay. All under the guise of everyone "paying their fair share" for education and government "services".

It is the ignorance, willful or otherwise, of the people, as well as their intellectual inability, or fear, to stand their ground against these creeping, incremental, trespassings against our rights, freedoms, and liberties, that have lead us where we are today. And even today, now, there are few that stand their ground and call out the abominations being foisted against the people.

The united States is now, and has been for a long time, officially, a failed experiment.

If you think I am incorrect in my assessment. Then what are you going to do reverse the tide?

Isn't it amazing, don't you think, what the topic of "eggs" can bring out in people?

The chicken-less egg is made from bits of ground-up peas, sorghum and a few other ingredients.

For those who like a steak-and-eggs breakfast, Gates suggests the chicken-less egg along with synthetic, lab-grown meat.

I'll keep eating food from animal sources as long as I can.

We shouldn't allow people to become multi-millionaires or billionaires in this country. It appears to make them insane.

Leonardtown Food Lion this evening… $6.19 for one dozen Food Lion brand extra large eggs.
Probably not related, but also FL, no 1% or 2% half gallon jugs or gallons of 2% (I think).

The red-headed young lady working a pickup order lied to me and said, "All the milk has been put out."

I said, "That's funny, another customer just went into the back cooler and got himself a gallon of 2%."
