All my local Calvert County Candidates won - SO glad to see 2 new conservative candidates on the School Board! :yahoo:

As for the Sheriff  I voted R on that one, but that was only a Party line vote. I guess we'll see him put up or shut up now. :tap:

Good on Florida getting some of those districts to turn! ESPECIALLY Miami-Dade. :yay:

Pennsylvania? You get what you deserve! :killingme Whew, lordy. :twitch:

Just wait until they push him so far that he strokes out again.
True. He’s probably not long for this world.

It’ll probably make for a good news story the night his eyes roll back and he topples over in the Senate crushing 13 desks.

The last ditch save our democracy must have scared enough people not to vote their best interests. In about 3-4 months they will realize they've been swindled.

Diesel fuel price will increase prices more and the rail workers walk out.

I think it is very interesting that the Miami Dade county turned red and there are no voting issues/regularities in FL.

How the flying hell do you think you have any clue what anyone's best interests are? The height of condescension.

Living in Maryland was expensive enough without Moore .
It's going to get worse.

Now we know how Biden got elected. Pennsylvania just showed us they like to vote for the mentally ill. Without doubt that was the strangest election of all.

You do realize that possibly the most common thing thrown against blocs of voters who vote Republican is that they are voting AGAINST their own best interests. Just this past week, the remark was "that's like cockroaches voting for RAID".

You're right on one point. It IS condescending. It's condescending to tell any one or any group of voters - "WE know your own interests better than you do".

Maybe it was the mess of 2000 - but for a state the size of Florida, they got everything done quickly. Heard it said a couple times that Florida seems to be the gold standard of counting votes.

Do you have a link for the results for Calvert Co? I went on the official website and can't make sense of it. Thanks

I never saw the appeal in him. I could NOT find anything redeeming in him. He had a very thin resume. He had no accomplishments to brag about. His mental acuity was there for the world to see - and it wasn't on point. When I hear people excuse it, I want to ask - "if he was your pilot - would you still have faith in him? If he was your brain surgeon - would you still let him operate?". I've had the occasion to meet a Senator or two. The good ones are smart as hell and fast on their feet. Why make excuses for someone?

I would think that Pennsylvanians would be wary of a man who was CLEARLY against fracking - claiming he wanted to END fracking - and then claim later, he was ALWAYS for fracking.

I suspect the portion of voters that voted for Fetterman - just didn't like Oz. I get it. I remember when Kathleen Kennedy Townsend ran for governor, the biggest complaint was "hell, she's not even FROM Maryland - how she govern a state she knows nothing about?". Oz wasn't a Pennsylvanian. I've only ever seen his show a few times - seems to me he's been known to promote a few products that are - well - snake oil.

Given the CHOICE between them, I would choose - to me - the lesser of two evils, Oz. Not a guy who's basically lived off others his entire adult life and phoned in his job as Lieutenant Governor - and the town he was mayor of - is a dump, now.

At least since the rise of Obama.

I am aware. Thank you for that just the same.

I miss the Blue Dogs. They were Democrats I identified with and the main reason I remained a Democrat for so long - they could espouse and promote more conservative ideas and take issue with their party if needed. They mostly don't exist anymore - you not only can't remain in the party without toeing the party line, you even have to pay lip service to the extreme progressive socialists.

8%+ inflation. High crime and an open border. People either accepted this is what they want or were scared into thinking it would be worse.
