So you finally admit it Tesla does not make good EVs!

You asked about owners. Tesla owners according to the stats, are very happy with their cars. I already stated the bad choices Hertz made, none of which apply to regular consumers. So, if the people buying them are happy, that equates to them building good cars.

Appears to me that Hertz is also an owner, and owns 1000s of them! They don't appear to be too satisfied. You should expect customer and owner satisfaction stats to take a dive. But of course you will ignore that inconvenient truth.

Well, I've never once looked at damage repair costs when buying a vehicle. In over 40 years over owning cars, I've needed bodywork maybe 4 times. And yes, they are Teslas. Virtually all of them.

Hertz made a three bad choices. One was the Uber deal. Guy who picked me up in Atlanta with his literally day old Tesla from Hertz a year and a half ago was loving it at a rental cost to him of $300 bucks a week. And Hertz carried the insurance. The second was [ulling them back from the Uber fleet to regular rental service without making extra effort to ensure renters were both okay with them, and got a good briefing in how they work.

When I rented one, I received an email with links to good Tesla videos showing how things work. But a lot of people wont bother. And at the counter side, nobody said "Sir, you are getting a Tesla, are you okay with and do you want someone to give you a walkthrough."m

Too many people just get tossed a keycard and sent to the car.
Wow $300/week is about government rate on a shitty compact.

I wouldn't say that, even now someone with a Tesla is what I consider an early adopter and they are going to view things more favorably than a run of the mill consumer.

It's like the people that camp out for an I-Phone, they see it with rose colored glasses. Almost anyone that buys something with enthusiasm is like that with their purchase. Couple that with the sales model, Tesla owners can't really just impulse buy due to no dealerships their buyers tend more to the enthusiastic type.

Hertz isnt, but since the average consumer wont lend their car to people who don't care about and only use to make money or literally treat it like "Its a rental". Personal owners care for it like most normal people do.

So, lets check back in on customer satisfaction in what, a year? What interval would you choose?

See, I think we passed the early adopter stage a while back. Not sure how you measure that though.

I consider the owners now early adopters because they are willing to deal with an incomplete charging network that is still a bit sparse.

I consider anyone that bought a 1st gen Prius and maybe even an early 2nd gen Prius early adaptors of hybrids, even though that path was way more seamless, things such as battery longevity were still somewhat of a mystery.

Hmmm, where have you heard this before and dismissed it as the ramblings of a silly fanboy?

Note this neat article cites sources with that magical stuff, data......... But maybe you know three people, so feel free to ignore the reality :)
I like data, it never lies or exaggerates.

The super hard and pushy sales tactics for all these Evies, including their disciples, reminds me of Professor Harold Hill, and his think system for playing music.

"If you want to play the Minuet in G, think the Minuet in G."

Same drift, same story! Negatives are piling up no matter what EV proponents say. Anything to keep the illusion alive, just another WIZARD behind the curtain! No data doesn't lie but it can be distorted or ignored by both sides. I prefer to deal with common sense after taking in data and NOT blindly!

Car and Driver, yep, part of the Big EV Lie :)
