You seem oddly sure of yourself for someone who was so wrong not too long ago about the deal even happening. Its quite possible he's negotiating for a lower price, using the bots as a reason.

TWTR closed down today — it’s now trading at a 30% discount to Elon’s offer which was previously accepted by the Board.

The market is transmitting: this deal won’t happen. Why would Elon pay a 30% premium?

He may be trying to negotiate a better price, having only now realizing the foolishness for offering so much to start with.

While he waived his due diligence right, I’m sure his backers didn’t.

How is this "deal" coming along? Elon still looking for ways out of it because he now realizes he'd by overpaying by a large margin if it goes through as-is?

No wonder all you Trump-humpers love this guy. Like Trump, he has you fooled into thinking he's playing 4-D chess. Instead, he's playing Hungry-Hungry Hippos.

I think this whole thing is hilarious. ****ing with someone who doesn't realize they're being ****ed with is long term entertainment, and when you can **** with a large oblivious group it's just gold. I rarely wish for money but now I wish I had billion$$ so I could do something like this.

All the mindless booger eaters on the interwebz exclaiming how stupid Elon Musk is......priceless. Hollywood could never come up with entertainment this satisfying.

Pressed by employees on free speech, Musk answered, “I think there’s also, there’s freedom of speech and freedom of reach, so I think people should be allowed to say…pretty outrageous things that are within the balance, the law, but, but then they don’t, you know, get amplified.”

Project Veritas recently published a full recording of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s virtual all-hands meeting with staff at Twitter, where the billionaire addressed the concerns of employees as he continues his bid to purchase the company.


When asked about whether he would be taking over as CEO of Twitter if his purchase goes ahead, Musk said that he was “not hung up on titles” but that he wants to be part of the driving force behind making changes to Twitter and “wants to make sure the product evolves rapidly.”

When asked about Project Veritas’ leak of the all-hands meeting, Musk reportedly commented: “Exactly.”

Seems to be moving ahead. Cant see why he would a) want to, or b) be allowed to address all the employees.

I think my issues with Trump are well known. I will note, its not how much you pay for a thing, but how much you can make with that thing that really counts. Lots of folks thought he overpaid when he "bought" Tesla for 6.5 million of the 7.5 million initial funding round. That turned out to be money well spent.

This country is in need of workers for a wide range of skills, for you to demean work, any work, it’s just unfathomable.
