Musk, who was a guest on the show in May, 2021, responded with a tweet showing a clip of the segment and his succinctly brutal review of the Left-leaning and once-groundbreaking comedy show.
“SNL is so rarely funny these day (sigh),” Musk wrote, adding a link to a 2019 post from satire site The Babylon Bee.
“Report: Long-Running Political Lecture Show ‘Saturday Night Live’ Will Shift To Comedy Next Season,” the Bee headline said.
“A new report out of well-known political lecture show Saturday Night Live indicated Friday that the series will undergo a drastic genre change, shifting to a comedic format,” the satirical post said. “Insiders claim the series will attempt to have jokes, funny skits, and clever writing. It’s a major change for the series, since it pretty much just lectures you on what to believe politically at this point.”
