Because they will never leave that cushy position. I don't blame them I just don't think they are worth half of what they are paid for what they do.
I'm going to amend this to say not all of them. Certainly there are govt workers who effective and necessary and are totally earning their salary. But if they work in some DEI agency that siphons money to garbage, out they go. If their primary objective is to facilitate illegal aliens and dole out money to them, to the chopping block with them.
Since I know people who work for the Census, I'll use that as an example. If we're going to have a census, we need people to do the jobs. What we don't need are redundant/obsolete/ineffective/wasteful census jobs or even whole sub-agencies. It's a pretty simple data collection/compilation job - it doesn't need 10,000 middle managers who do nothing but oversee the people doing the real work. It absolutely doesn't need activists on the payroll to make sure the data compiled is "equitable".
Dept of Education should be much smaller and far less powerful. There should be no such thing as a national teacher's union. Education should be administered by the states, with a *small* federal agency overseeing it but NOT setting the agenda.

These freaks act like Trump/DOGE is blowing up the whole United States government infrastructure, and that's simply a lie screamed by corrupt politicians and govt workers who've been stealing from us all these years.
