I don't know why you keep saying this. I have told you a number of times that I support a lot of Trump's policies and I voted for him. I support his strong response to illegal immigrants. I even support his desire to shrink the Federal government and root out fraud and waste. But supporting the what, is not necessarily supporting the how and the who. I don't know why you believe that supporting any politician means you must support everything they do. I never have, even with Ronald Reagan.
I wouldn't say panic, but yes concern. I have my own suspicions on Musk. He is entering areas that are no doubt conflict of interests and nobody is stopping him. He is also gathering a lot of personal information on every American with no indication of how he is protecting it. His information could be ripe for massive identity fraud. But we will wait and see. And just so you know, I do believe he is finding a lot of questionable things and waste within the government. But I want to see more conclusive proof of what he has found before I give him credit for that. His statement that millions of people 150 and older are collecting SS was beyond stupid. It only takes a little bit of research to find out that SSA cuts off SS at 115 years of age. You have to apply and show proof of still being alive to have it turned back on. I guess he forgot to research that.

And does it bother you that 8 bazillion other government employees also have access to everyone's personal information? Nobody ever griped about this until Elon came along. Now all of a sudden he - out of those 8 bazillon government employees - is going to....what? Sell your email address to Nigerian scammers? Steal your identity? Why would he do that? It's more likely that Joe Schmo, low level unvetted IRS dipshit, would steal your information to make a buck or two. Yet nobody seems to be bothered by that.

Ok, please did I ever say he was going to sell email addresses to Negeria? That is totally bat crap crazy. I never said Elon Musk would sell any information to anyone. I never said he would steal your identity. Please try to keep up. The point I made was that his intrusion into personal information without protection could result in an identity theft, not from him, but by others who know how to do it.
If you are fine with Elon Musk going into private data, well I guess that is ok. I am not.
I brought up on other threads how Elon Musk was against Trump and said as an old man he should get out of the presidential race. Then once it became obvious that Trump was going to win the nomination, Elon Musk backed Trump.
I hope Trump realizes what he has. I get that he owes him something for the money he backed Trump with, but go back and see what he said about Trump 2-3 years ago.
