I thought Venus was the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Not the Sexy Goddess.

Just cuz a woman is beautiful doesn't mean you want to get her in the sack. (No side snickers, Beavis! :lol:) Like I said, beauty is different than sexy. And like the old saying goes: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." The same could be said about being sexy. You can be attracted to someone's beauty and also to someone's sexiness.

IMO, Sexy is more of a seductive look, appearance, or action directed toward a particular audience in a lustful way to build desire.

I think my mom is a beautiful woman, but I would never say she was sexy! And she's certainly NEVER acted sexy toward me!! :twitch: :barf:
However, my dad obviously has a different perspective of her.

You bring up an interesting point. Mila, I think most would agree is sexy. Sultry. Exotic. Sexy. However, there is something about Katherine Hepburn that is NOT exotic, not seductive, NOT sultry but, very sexy. Angelica Houston has that going on as well; not popularly or stereotypical sexy but, sexy none the less.

Julia Roberts is not sexy. Jamie Lee Curtis isn't usually sexy (Fish named Wanda) but, that scene in True Lies was plasma torch sexy.

I agree with you on some of those. I however can't say that I ever thought Hepburn or Huston were sexy. But that's my point, each of us has our opinions.

As you said, Roberts is not sexy and is just a "pretty woman". And Curtis, well I don't know if I'll ever see her as being sexy again now that she does those Activia yogurt commercials to stay regular. :killingme
