Okay, you are full of sh!t Bob Ruddy. You called up like many others about how the boom scared you; the only difference was that you were the only caller sniveling. BTW this was after the third boom. At the point of your call I told you the aircraft had returned to base and that we had been on an approved profile. You never expressly said that you were issuing a no vote (you know, a requirement so that those involved clearly know that they need to resolve the issue before continuing) nor did I feel it was necessary to advise you of the continuation of the test as you had no need to know.

Up until now I had made an effort to keep your name out of this even though I knew who you were. But you keep pushing so I'll push back with the knowledge that I have already been cleared of any wrong doing by my immediate supervisor. We'll see what the ROD Head has to say about your words here in this thread tomorrow.

You don't want to go there but:

I issued my no vote when I informed you that extemely loud sonic booms were hitting land. You LIED to me and told me that the test was completed. If you think I don't have a need to know then you are sadly mistaken.

I would have went up the chain if you had any character and told me the truth. YOU DO NOT HAVE AUTHORITY TO ALLOW SONIC BOOMS OVER POPULATED AREAS!!!!!!

Salty, I have to tell you - I don't think this is the place to be hashing out a NAVAIR related issue. If there's a problem, you should do what normal people do and take it up with superiors at work, not here on a public forum. If you were my employee and pulled something like this, I'd have your ass.

When someone posts to the public that sonic booms are to be expected and approved by the NAS, then I will go out my way to prove them wrong. Whomever they are!!!!

Right back at you, if you were my employee and you lied or covered up an environmental infraction, I'd have your ass.

Let's not forget that environmental infractions, sexual harassment and security violations are the three to things that can get a blue badge fired.

I will NOT apoligize for doing my job. This infraction was not requred to get the test finished. It should have been postponed until there was the right atmospherics.

I should lay a lot of disrespect at your post, but I won't. Please tell me how you are qualified to judge me?
