oh and you remember that guy Dr James Dobson that did a radio talk show. he really pushed traditional family values and spanking your kids. i have fantasies about spanking him.
Ah. I see that you have taken on the God's job of deciding who and who is not going to hell by name.gumbo said:So just maybe he might have some pity on me and not throw my butt into the lake of fire called hell along with Jimmy Swagart , Billy Gram and a bunch of other TV money grubbing Idiots along with a bunch of Popes and 2A
Yes 2a if your reading this your going to hell also don't kid yourself.
You read the Bible enough , I am sure you have read the passage that will condemn you to hell. However if you are putting a blind eye to this part , in which you more than likely are I shall point it out for you .
I am really surprised that with all the finger pointing back at you that no one has pointed The totally obvious out to you .
Hint, do you still have all your guns ?
Hint, do you really have faith in the Lord ?
Hint , read above post made by Elaine.
If you have got rid of them I'm wrong and I humbly apologize.
If not see you at Hells party

Kizzy said:There is tons of Christian music that is fantastic. Have you ever listened to Sandi Patty, Rachel Lampa, Jennifer Knapp, Point of Grace, Amy Grant, Twilla Parris, Crystan Lewis? The list goes on and on of terrific Christian music, so much so, that I could only listen to that forever and be happy.
Other than you and I that list is easy, Jesus let it be know that they have the same chance of getting into heaven as it would be to put a camel through the eye of a needle , So that only leaves one other place.2ndAmendment said:Ah. Come on now this is weak , Now who doesn't know this2ndAmendment said:And the commandment is "Thou shall not murder.", not "Thou shall not kill." which have two entirely different connotations.
2ndAmendment said:Yes, I still have my weapons. Please quote any passage from the Bible that states that weapons are wrong to have. And the commandment is "Thou shall not murder.", not "Thou shall not kill." which have two entirely different connotations. Ever read the account of David and Goliath, the Philistine giant (1 Samuel 17)?
Who knows? Maybe I am on the road to hell like most. The road and gate to hell is wide; Christians are to enter by the narrow gate. I trust in God to be faithful to His word that I am forgiven because I agree with Him that I am a sinner and I ask Him to forgive me. When He died on the cross, He knew every sin I, or anyone else, would ever commit. He died for them all. He died for all of us through all history. It is up to us to accept or reject Him. I have accepted Him, so I trust in His forgiveness. I will know for sure the day I pass from this world.
But you missed the other part of Jesus statement that all things are possible through God. True, you cannot serve both God and money. But God did not say you could not be successful as long as you put Him first.gumbo said:Other than you and I that list is easy, Jesus let it be know that they have the same chance of getting into heaven as it would be to put a camel through the eye of a needle , So that only leaves one other place.
And you? Are you ready to give all of your possessions up? I don't think you have to. I do believe you must put God before your possessions. And how did they get their money ? Last I recall Jesus nor his disciples excepted anything but food and shelter.
They don't live in a modest house or drive a modest car and they encourage people to give more while they get rich. Do churches really need to be built on prime real estate? Money Money Money and we know what the bible says about Greed. No man can serve God and Money ?
I wonder how many of them have enough faith to really believe that God shall provide and give up all their personal money.
Those that teach falsely will be judged the harshest. Those who teach will be judged the harshest.
Being indwelt and empowered by the Holy Spirit allows me to be discerning, too.The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment. 1 Co 2;15
I am spiritual so I am allowed ! As for the second part of this , their real faith is at question, is it love of money or love of God, can't serve both ,so I am still allowed.

I don't think so. I don't think you will find where I posted by name that anyone was hell bound. I make no bones about it that sinners that do not have Jesus as Savior and Lord and those that are unrepentant are, according to the Bible, not me, hell bound.crabcake said:And you don't think you've done this with some of your posts on here?
Taken in context, the Hebrew-Aramaic meaning is clear.Chasey_Lane said:Your statement above is the same statement I made towards homosexuality. To "lay" with could be translated in different ways, not just to have sexual relations with. I rest my case.
Literally saying someone was "hell-bound", perhaps not. But some of your comments relating to religion could certainly be perceived as you 'playing God'.2ndAmendment said:I don't think so. I'll take my hell-bound, self-ritcheous self over some hypocritical, bible-thumper ANY day!crabcake said:Literally saying someone was "hell-bound", perhaps not. But some of your comments relating to religion could certainly be perceived as you 'playing God'.
I do not presume to play God. The Bible is the Truth. That is what I base my life and my posts on.crabcake said:Literally saying someone was "hell-bound", perhaps not. But some of your comments relating to religion could certainly be perceived as you 'playing God'.
