When I was pissed at the ex I would rock either Slipknot or the Deftones. He hated both. I'd turn on the stereo in the bedroom and start cleaning and there was no talking me down. If he was in the bedroom and I was in the living room I'd pop "The Nightmare Before Christmas" or "The Little Mermaid" in the VCR, he'd come out to watch tv and get soooo pissed.

Hey Pixie! Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all-time FAVS! I hope you sang along LOUDLY to all the songs in Little Mermaid, too, just for the added aggravation effect! ("up where they walk, up where they run, up where they PLAY all day in the sun...")

Good "pissed off" song when you're thinking about the 'ol ex is the Dixie Chicks' "Goodbye Earl"....(don't we ALL have that fantasy???)

Good "pissed off" movie is "Thelma and Louise"...

NO!! the movie I watch when I'm suicidal is The Crow... nothing but the original... makes me all depressed, even more *LOL* or I'll watch Barney... after 10 minutes of him... my anger switches to him *LOL*

I interpreted "Thelma and Louise" to be about breaking free – not suicide! :D But maybe I'm stretching it a bit...

To foster suicidal thoughts I'd watch "The Piano"... (what a bummer!) I agree – "The Crow" is a downer, too! Or how about "Angela's Ashes?"

The movie that makes me want to swallow a bullet is "City of Angels". What the hell, I want to hate it cause it's so sad but I absolutely love it. :burning:

Talk about depressing...

Great movie, but "Pay it Forward" has to be one of the saddest things I've ever seen!

Oh my God...Pay It Forward...I was watching what I thought was a light hearted drama and KABOOM! I was a mass of tears and depressed the rest of the day.

A really good chick flick is Boys On The Side...but have a box of Kleenex ready. I was at a girls beach weekend several years ago and it was raining. We went into a video store and asked for a good girls' movie and this was recommended. Geez....after several bottles of wine and watching this movie, we were all basket cases!!!!

Favorite song?

Good question!
Easy answer... fortunately, for me.

Save the Best for Last by Vanessa Williams. First time I heard it...I was about 12... it really touched me. Every time I hear it... it gets me. It's been my favorite since 12. I can't quite explain it... there are other songs that touch me... but none like this one... it's the BEST!!!! :D

:blushing:

ok... time to step out of the "cheesy" moment...

Led Zepplin

Stairway to Heaven,

Best darn song in the world. Nothing beats that intro riff. The flute or piccolo or whatever it is...the fact that Led Zepplin never liked the song from the beginning and its there No 1 song....

Some great lyrics too.
