Does your stove work without electricity? We got rid of our aging wood stove. We're trying to decide whether its replacement should run on propane, pellets or corn. But I understand that most pellet stoves and corn stoves use electricity to supply the fuel to the burners. That wouldn't help if we lose electricity during an ice storm.

Unless you like the smell of burned popcorn stay well away from corn as a fuel source...
