Last year, you had 161 total pts*(7th out of 20)..and in 06, you had 178 to win the regular season..

This is the 4th year we've done this here..I've done this head to head with an old work contact from Dallas since 93..lol..and I have all those spreadsheets too..lol..

Otter, question if a game ends up a tie by point spread, Skins game for example, does the tie go to the underdog in this case the Skins, was just wondering since I picked them and they were my 5 pointer.:buddies:

Week 17 Results

Playoffs next week..last nights game did change a few things..I believe this is right.

(1)Firebrand(winner East divison) vs (8)Kom526(runner-up West division)

(2)DoWhat (winner South divison) vs (7)Pete (runner-up North division)

(3)BsGal (winner North divison) vs (6)Daddy-O (runner-up South division)

(4)Clevalley (winner West divison) vs (5) BuddyLee (runner-up East division)

You should have accepted DoWhat's late picks, then he wouldnt have ended up in first, cause he picked his beloved Cowboys :killingme to beat Philly and that was his 5 point pick. He did better not picking his picks.:lmao:

Yeah, I noticed that..Rules are rules, if I had let him, I can think of at least 4 or 5 nastygrams I would have gotten in my PM box.

Should be interesting, Caps have already won the first meeting between. Caps been playing most of their games without many of their main guys due to injuries, the young guys from Hershey have really filled in great and even Hershey without many of their stars due to being called up to the NHL playing outstanding.
Caps are looking good for the future with all the young players here and at Hershey, if not this year it shouldnt be more then 2-3 years away from a celebration here.
Heck the city needs a good professional team to do well, Wizards:loser:, Nationals:loser:Redskins:banghead:

In the case of ties for seeding, whoever had the better record in week 1 gets the spot, or if still tied, week 2..and so on. The playoffs will be a little different . You will use the spread plus over/unders, plus, depending on the games that weekend, you will pick according to you think is the best pick, 2nd best pick., etc..Example –

4 games – 8 picks (4 games with the spread, 4 by over/under)
You will pick an 8 point game(the game you feel is your lock of the week), then a 7 point game, 6 and down to a 1 point. Ties will be broken by results of week 1, as explained in the above paragraph. I can’t think of another to break ties in the playoffs, if someone has a more logical tiebreaker, say so.

The final 2 will face each other in the Conference finals and I’ll come up with something that expands the points system..Suggestions are welcome

added - This is head to head..#1 versus #8, 2v7,3v6,4v5; winner moves on to second round.

There are possible ties in the final standing, I believe Pete and Donbarini could tie, but Pete's record in week 1 was better(noted above to decide ties)
