You'd better ask Echo what his gas expenses are first. Furthermore, diesel is higher than gas.

BCP, I own a z71 and am a strong Chevy guy. But I still think the Powerstroke Fords are better trucks in the long run.......

I bleed Ford blue but I won't recommend any of the early 6.0 liter trucks. The 6.4 has been sweet so far.

You got a later model 6.0 so you should be fine as long as you don't go crazy with the performance mods.

My ex has the Dodge Ram Quad Cad(not sure of the number) Diesel....he's had it for almost 2 years and doesn't have a single complaint that I know of

hmmm... I have seen a dead 6.4 from Ford... the guy owned it for 1.5 months also..

I'm going to be that guy and say what about the Toyota Tundra with 5.7?

my 04 4Runner pulls better than an 05 F150 4x4 with 5.4 (he had a cap also). Now its only a 5x8 trailer with 3k in weight inside. I get about 3 mpg better than the F150 and less down shifting (we've made a few trips to Baltimore).

I worked in Ford parts for 6 years and the new 6.0's have had nothing but problems and recalls. I currently work in Chevy parts and have heard nothing bad about their diesels. I would get the Chevy!!

Neither...get a dodge. I love my Fords, but since owning a dodge w/ a cummins, Im hooked.

I heard the other day that there was an accident in Leonardtown where the brand new Chevy lost the front u-joints on his drive shaft and ended up stopping rather quickly....the bed of the truck ended up beside him on the road

Have an 07 Ford F-250 diesel to pull a 38' 12,000 pound camper. I would not have anything else!!!

Dad has a Chevy diesel to pull a smaller camper than mine and he cant keep up.
