I mean... sure vrai... I bet you can sing better than Linda Ronstadt.

Also :huggy: for the record, I'm not paranoid. That would imply I have an extreme and irrational fear or distrust of others. I trust many just not a few.

Thanks for the great response so far, please continue to post your questions and comments. I will not be on line tomorrow or Friday during the day. I will be spending the day with 200 boy scouts out in the heat. I got a feeling if I didn’t drink already I would after the next few days.

I have done my best to clean it up both literally and figuratively, I have thrown out more trouble makers and loud mouths than I have fingers and toes and I have spent thousands on pest control, upgrades, remodeling, and cleaning.

And now you're inviting forumites? :yikes: Nothing like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire. :roflmao:

Whatever you want and the CASH will go to you so that SOMD Online can make the donation.
If the donation would be coming from SoMD, I'd like to nominate my son's Cub Scout Pack as a recipient. Not only are we a non-profit, but we also support other non-profit organizations. All monies we raise throughout the year go towards supporting the Pack (i.e. underwriting the costs of camp, camping trips, awards for the boys, Pack activities, etc.), and we also do a "Presents from Santa" every year. This is much like the Toys for Tots program, only we do it, and we select the families based on need. Last year we were able to provide 3 families with complete Christmas dinners and lots and lots of presents. This year we hope to expand the program to more families. We also participate in the "Scouting for Food" program, and all food/monies collected in this is given to St. Mary's Caring Inc., the food kitchen right outside PAX. We put on a 5K this summer and 1/2 of the net proceeds were donated to St. Mary's Caring too. The boys get a lot out of the Scouting program in all aspects of their lives.

Now look Ms. Thang,
I would not personally benefit one bit from any donations to the Cub Scout Pack. Shoot, I have personally donated over $200.00 to the Pack in the way of awards I have bought to give immediate recognition to the boys in my Den when they met requirements for their ranks, and the building and equiping of a Chuck Box for my Den. This is not counting the hours I put in trying to make sure the Scouting experience is as fulfilling as possible for the boys, nor is it counting the time and transportation costs of going to the Scout Shop in Bethesda a number of times on behalf of my Den and/or the Pack over the last year.
So :moon:
