Do I need to submit anything in writing to him and 1 stating I will look after you? Are you sure we are going further than Panera Bread?

Here's the Route:

Right out of my driveway. Right at the end of my road to the cul-de-sac at the end of that road. Do the cul-de-sac, then come out of the cul-de-sac and go straight across 235, right at Panera, park. On the way back, we will have to make a right out of the Panera Parking lot and exit down by Target, make a right down 235 to Chancellor's Run, right on Great Mills Road, to Indian Bridge Road to 4, make a right on 4, right on 235, right on Rolling Road to the end, where I will duck-walk the bike around at the end of the road, then back up Rolling Road and straight across 235 to end up finally making the right onto my street.

Got it?

You should probably have something in writing from them.

When I head out to Luray in a week I'm taking a little detour I found. Before you cross the river take Kings Hwy to Cool Springs rd. I mile to Left on Butler rd. That turns into 17 and takes you up toward Warrenton, but before you get there you take a short cut over to 29 and head south. About 10 miles longer, but you avoid all the lights and malls.

After you cross the Potomac on 301, just take a (R) on 206 at the Burger King/WaWa and another (R) on 218.
218 becomes Butler Rd and it's a MUCH better bike road than taking Rt.3 (Kings Hwy) into town.

If you heading south of Fredericksburg on Rt.3, when you get to the Rt.218/Rt.1 intersection, take a left (south) on Rt.1, then right on Fall Hill Ave. and another right on River Rd. It comes out on Rt.3 at Chancellersville battelfield, skips all the town traffic.

 218 has PLENTY of lefts, rights and even a whoopde by Fairview Beach

FYI on 218 you can add at least 10mph to all the MAXIMUM SAFE SPEED signs without scraping anything.
