Foxy "the BOY" is amazingly cute!

From looking at the pictures, it does look like he has a pretty short tail. Manx i think have rounder faces and short legs. If he is, hes definately a mix. Were these people looking specifically for a manx?

The lady happens to like Manx cats.

He does have short legs. I thought it interesting that he has short legs, wide feet - he's sort of built like a small linebacker LOL

cut his tail off, they'll never know the difference

Do you need a kitty companion? I bet Foxy would be a great kitty to brighten your day!

He seems to be attached to me, but I figure with a few days, maybe a week, he can become attached to someone else :yay:

News Flash - Foxy is a MANX !

It has taken time but several people have said you do know that Foxy is a Manx cat right? I'm like well, no. It appears he is WOW.

He has cotton-like fur like Tajii, his back legs are longer than his front, and his feet are wide. I felt the tip of his tail and it is perfectly rounded, not a tail accident as I had thought. I am surprised I didn't figure this out before now.

Thought I would update Foxy's thread with a picture of him and his buddy Austin. They seem to like each other a LOT.

I am surprised no one has adopted him yet. He is super handsome! I love the medium/long haired boys :)

He was adopted once, acted like a nut case running from them all over their home. I don't get it because he NEVER acted like that with me, or with the gal who found him wandering the streets of Hollywood. I took him to the vet the SAME day I got him and they commented on how laid back he was.

I guess he just wanted to come back home? They returned him pronto. Oh well. We stopped marketing him after that. He has become a long-term resident until someone special comes along that he wants to love on?

Cats need a lot more time to adjust and maybe there was something about them that he did not like  I have adopted very sweet cats out before that have been at my house and people have brought them back stating they did this and that. Well, they never acted like that when I had them so there is definitely a reason he did that.

He is a "different" kitty. I know they all have their own personality and all, but he's a whiner lol - follows me and cries out - like hey pet me? Doesn't like being held much, and doesn't like you touching his back end for some reason. If you persist to do something he doesn't like he will whack you and/or bite you. So he's not the easy-going, do-anything-to-me type of kitty he seemed to be in the beginning, but he didn't ever freak out.

He stands up to look out the screen door to see where I went when I go outside. He stays at the door until I come back. I think he's stuck on me - he doesn't do that to anyone else here. I let him sit in my lap, and I hold him sometimes, until he's had his fill LOL.

He will need a real "cat lover" that understands the bites and smacks and does not really care lol. We have a really beautiful boy who almost looks like a pixie bob in the face and he is super sweet but when he has had enough, he lets you know or if you are not petting him, he swats at you then and lets you know as well.

Once we uncovered the personality that Poppy the senior kitty has, we stopped trying to adopt him out. That sad/mad/grumpy kitty making money has nothing on Poppy (Poppy is the real deal, not just LOOKS). He will swat you and bite you faster than any other kitty I have ever met. We think it is in part due to him being in pain for so long with his overweight issues and also being an undiagnosed diabetic for so long. Now he's on insulin (4 times a day) and has lost some weight and he doesn't lash out quite as much.
