Fresh Live Christmas Wreath

Is there anyone around this area that makes fresh live Christmas wreaths? I am looking to get some for a few friends and family and know they would love it.

If there is someone around here that does it, then pass the info to me.

I believe the Amish place on Rt. 5 in Loveville sells them. I've seen them in past years. I'm sure there are other places as well. That's the only place I can think of right now. I'm sure others can suggest places.

In My Opinion
Make your own, my wife makes them for people every year.

she uses mostly stuff that is cut from the yard, Im not allowed to do any plant trimming until she is ready for the greens.

There is a Christmas Tree farm on Flat Iron Road.. look for the big red barn on the left.. and the tree farm is past it on the right.. Sorry dont know the name..

Also, Green Acres off Parson's Mill Road. Nice full wreaths that last.

Chesapeake Bounty in St. Leonard has fresh food, greenery, Christmas Trees and is family owned an operated. Worth the drive if you don't live in Calvert County. You can choose the custom bow for your wreath, they make swags, garland etc. Right off of Route 4 Northbound on the right. Pumpkins abound now....always great produce too!

You can also hit up the craft fairs. MCS has one November 6th and they used to have a vendor that made fresh wreaths.

Boy Scout Troop 420, the one based in Leonardtown, used to do them. Not sure if they still do.

QVC has some nice ones that you can choose the ship date to get there when you want (usually around thanksgiving and several ship dates in Dec) and they have really pretty ones with different decorations/bows that are keepsake type deals..and you can send them right to whoever's house.

BUMPING this up. Looking for the Scout Troop or someone who sells xmas wreaths that you get sent in the mail fresh. I ordered one at the cash bash last year and loved it. troop wasn't there this year and am looking for info on how I can buy one this year.

Troop 561 is also selling them. I can put you in contact with them if the Pack sells out before you can get one from the aforementioned Tiger Cub.
