I just bought the HJC FS-10. I love this helmet. Has a built in retractable sun visor so that you don' have to change out your face shield on those bright sunny days!! I got it got it from newenough.com. Great Price. I highly recommend this helmet.

Have you used it yet?

I've tried many different brands. Can't go wrong with an HJC, mid level to low-end helmet, price is OK, fit and finish not bad.

By far though, my favorite is Arai. They are stupid expensive, but you can pick one up (new) for a decent price on ebay. I won't buy another brand.

I thought the rules for the distributors (for Arai) that their helmets could ONLY be sold at dealerships where they could be fitted properly?

Have to wonder who is selling them on e-bay, and what it is you are getting.

But have to agree, Arai and Shoei are in a league and price point all their own!

Yeah, the rule you mentioned is true, I believe. Not sure how some people get around it. But I've purchased two Arais on Ebay, both were brand new, and both took a big hit against the pavement and saved my melon.

I'm not sure that I could even get my bike out without knocking over everything of Whistler's in the process.

Moonchilds hubby here, I have an Icon Mainframe myself, its a decent helmet for the money. Full face or no ride for me, used a skid lid once in CA, felt like I was riding naked:)

BTW, Ed, I know you, I used to drive a fast Neon, now I drive a fast Charger:) And no, not fast compared to your ride, just cars:)
