You know me? If you did, you would know that you are posting is a bunch of tripe. I don't hate anyone. I dislike your Internet persona. I might like you in person, but I doubt it. So you are judging me saying I hate people. I don't hate homosexuals. I hate homosexual behavior. The Bible does not say God hates homosexuals; It says He hates homosexual behavior.

I am not perfect, yet. God is still working on me, but when He sees me and every other of His children, those that have accepted Jesus as Savior and lord, He sees Jesus' perfection and not my imperfection.
blah blah blah, but not if youre gay blah blah blah

its nice how you skim right past the "don't judge" parts......

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

again, your limited, prejudice and hate filled view, is not that of all christains, and instead of accepting that there may be other opinions on the subject you make the judgenment that they are "not on the road to heaven"

judging people the way you do surely isn't putting you on the road to heaven either, possibly if you recognized it as the sin it is, and repented, but you certainly aren't doing that......
I really am curious to know how what 2A posted is hate-filled. Whether you are a Christian bound for heaven is not a matter of opinion. The bottom line is you MUST accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is no other way and suggesting this truth to others is actually contrary to this hate you assert. When a Christian points these facts out they do it out of love and a desire that ALL come to Christ.

Is that the same for say David Koresh? a lot of people came to god through him too.
Yes, the same. I have no idea (nor do you) who God will accept into heaven.

Even though Jesus hated the sin of Matthew he still went into his home and ate with him. He was condemned by nearly everyone but showed the depths of his love for even the most hated sinner. Matthew became one of his Disciples. The community judged Jesus yet Matthew is going to heaven. Some will get it, some wont.

Seems to me I posted that. Sorry you can't read. I hear the county has remedial reading programs. Did I say you were good-for-nothing? Nope. Did I call you a fool? Nope. Did I mention anyone by name? Nope. Did I single anyone out? Nope. I said a general group of people committing sin were guilty of committing sin. I said that "Christians" that don't believe the Bible or think any sin is OK are not really Christian by the Bible's standards. Not my writing; God's word.

:killingme Oh the irony! :lmao:

I saw that you signed on and off four times to slap me red with your MPDs just because I compared you to JPC, and then you post this! :killingme

Maybe we should change it to "whoever slaps you on your right cheek, slap him back four times."

I guess the JPC comment was a little overboard. I apologize. I won't compare you to JPC again.

You have to admit, though, the irony of you posting this verse is pretty funny!

we were talking about the episcopal church and its stance on homosexuality, seems those christians aren't so hate filled as say 2ndA who likes to use his interpretaions of the bible to justify his on homophobia. Episcopals accept jesus as their savior, but 2ndA wont concede that they are christian because they dont share his hate filled view.

I have never heard of Falwell being vulgar. Please find a reference.

And DIDN'T Osama bin Laden say himself that America had fallen into moral decay and that was one of the reasons he wanted to wipe us off the face of the earth? So one could argue that in fact we were attacked on 9-11 because of gays, perverts and atheists.

Wouldn't Osama consider being a Christian moral decay??

So, in Osama's eyes, you can add Christianity to Falwells list.. gays, perverts, atheists, and Christians are to blame for 9/11...

Karma is as important as ... well it is not important at all. It is the message in the karma. What was my message? It was have the courage to sign your karma or leave me alone. And I made that very clear. This is not the real world or maybe it is yours.

My belief agrees with scripture; Old Testament:
Leviticus 18:21-23

21'You shall not give any of your offspring to offer them to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

22'You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

23'Also you shall not have intercourse with any animal to be defiled with it, nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it; it is a perversion.
and New Testament:
1 Corinthians 6:8-10

8On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.

9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
It is the Episcopal organization that has chosen to abandon the Truth in the Bible.

I do not hate homosexuals nor do I have homophobia. I fear very little and certainly not homosexuals. They are sinners just as all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. I have never said former homosexuals could not be Christians or even homosexuals that have repented and are in the process of abandoning the sin of homosexual behavior. They can enter the kingdom of heaven just as all sinners can after repentance and accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord.

What is more loving? To tell someone it is OK to sin and have them loose their soul to satan or to proclaim the love and forgiveness of God and salvation through repentance and acceptance of Jesus. I will gladly have people like you call me names and revile me if just one homosexual finds the love and forgiveness of God.

Like i said, the episcopal church just doesn't interpret it your way, sorry. And thousands of homosexuals have found god through that church. If we try real hard i am sure we can find lots of passages to justify the hate, fear, and prejudice people have of the various races, but that doesn't mean that is the only christian way....

I'm not reading anywhere in 2A's posts that state he hates gays. What I am getting from him is homosexuality is not a lifestyle that God approves of. The larger question is, can a gay person really be a Christian? Well, who are we to try to decide that. If I were to use the Bible as my measuring stick I would have to say no. But I always have to use my default answer that I don't know the heart of any gay person and I certainly don't know what God's purpose is for that person. All I know is throughout the Bible God condemns such relationships. When you become a Christian you are compelled to shun this sort of behavior. Does this mean these people are going to hell? None of us know. We, Christians, are charged to pray for them and love them.

If Episcopals taught that homosexual behavior is sin, then I would have no problem with them. But, in light of the consecration of a practicing homosexual bishop, Gene Robinson, on November 2, 2003, the Episcopal Church has not only taught by example that homosexual behavior is acceptable but has endorsed that sin as being rewarded by church leadership. This is the organization that is now led by Katharine Jefferts Schori who said in June 2006 that she believed homosexuality was no sin and homosexuals were created by God to love people of the same gender. She also believes that there are "many roads to God." I would say this scripture applies.
2 Timothy 4:1-4
"Preach the Word"
1I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:

2preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,

4and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

I apologized. I see that you chose not to accept that, and continue to harbor your resentment. Have fun with that.

Sorry, I did not say, "Apology accepted," so apology accepted. Thanks. JPC is not someone I would like to be like.

Resent what? An imaginary persona that goes by MMDad? There is certainly a real person, but the Internet is a place where you can be what you want to be. Project what you want to project. Who are you in real life? Do I know? Maybe. Probably not. We might like each other IRL. Won't know until that time, if ever, we meet.

What are a bunch of red and green squares worth? Nothing. The idea conveyed in the message may have meaning. My meaning was clear; sign your karma or leave me alone or I'll smack you with meaningless karma harder than you smacked me. That is reflective of the real me.

I am opinionated. I believe my opinion is right. Why hold an opinion you think is wrong? I do not like to fight or argue but will stand firm on what I believe. I will try to defuse the situation if confronted physically; I have been very successful at that since college. But I am well trained in many disciplines to defend myself and my loved ones. I believe if I have to fight, fight to win by devastating my opponent; make them wish they had not started the altercation and not want to start one in the future. So, rather than smack you once, I smacked you four times. Did it hurt? Of course not. Did it get my point across? I hope so. If you have a problem with me, don't insult me. Tell me where we disagree. We can post our differences and either come to a point of agreement or agree to disagree.

If you want me to bump you back up with green, I'll do that, too. Just say the word.

God created everything, therefore he created homosexuals.
I have always thought it was funny that 'love thy brother' is a central tenent of christianity, but those that actually love thy brother are doing something wrong. Its just rediculous...... If love is a gift from god, and people are created by god, how can loving another person be wrong.

thats one of the funniest "i don't care about karma" rants i have ever read. And it continues to show the TRUTH of your values, not very christian,
"I will attack you four times for each offense against me" is a far cry from turn the other cheek and forgive those who trespass....
