Gas Run

Gas station in Ridge is out of gas at the moment, and that is after 3 price changes in the last 24 hours going from $2.95 to $3.29 per gal. Based on the number of cars I’ve seen on the road today, people are not that concerned about running out of gas.

Oh yeah one more thing - diesel is now cheaper than gas. At least in Ridge. This has only happened about 4 times in the last 20 years.

I thought a law was put in place to stop this after the last gasoline crisis.

I remember pumping gas at Sheetz on GMR watching the price change on the sign. I was pumping at the original price. When I hung up the nozzle, the pump showed the new price.

People have short memories.

I find it very off-putting when they raise the price without getting a new load of fuel. Raise it based on the cost of a new load of fuel.

Thats called running a business.... Its one of the reasons most retail don't price tag everything. A sku number on the shelf is easier to change when stocking products...

I get that, but there is a difference between good business and raising the price of an item multiple times in the course of a day or two. Not justified.

I filled up last Friday in VA @ $2.69/gal. It's times like these that I love my Jetta. I should be good until NEXT Friday.

I filled up Saturday for the first time in 6 months. Telework has its perks. Used 1/5 of the tank on a round trip to Annapolis and back so I'm good for only another 5-6 months.

This one seems to have had the biggest impact so far, but they are happening all the time. Hospitals, school systems, local governments, and we don’t hear about most of the corporation events since they just pay the ransom unless it’s something like this and takes out infrastructure.

Total truth. They even hit small-potatoes home PC users.
