I filled up last Friday in VA @ $2.69/gal. It's times like these that I love my Jetta. I should be good until NEXT Friday.
I just noticed that the 33-gallon tank in my '78 Bronco daily driver is at 1/4....

Is that gasoline????
I don't think that quite meets DOT requirements.
It's more abundant than hydrogen. The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.
I get that, but there is a difference between good business and raising the price of an item multiple times in the course of a day or two. Not justified.
That should last you a while...
No, but that's not the same thing. We're not talking about 2 year old stock. This is a commodity that turns over in days.I on occasion sell steel at a retail price to folks around town, would you expect me to sell it for what I paid say two years ago wholesale or todays retail price?
That can only end good. I heard about someone filling up buckets yesterday.
If your cost keeps going up with a business like the fuel business the retailers on most cases don't pay for the fuel along with other commodities until its sold.
With whats happening on the east coast a retailers profit margin can easily be erased if the if the retail price is not increased when they get a increase.
