Yes, I know scooters have "grown up". I see a Burgman almost every day walking to the bus stop in DC.

Me too. Super fuel efficient, comfortable, easier to get on than a bike (step thru design), quiet. All a in my book. Only way I'd ride one is if I lived in the city or at the beach. No way would I be caught riding one on the beltway.

Guy I work with lives about 5 miles from work. He rides a 125 scooter to work. Outrageous gas milage, free parking. He spends less a month to commute than I do in 1 day.
