Also I was over in leonardtown this weekend looking for the moll dyer rock. They told me to look in front of the old jail but I did not find it.
Anyone knows where it is?

I saw the rock back a long time ago in front of the court house but from not being from around here I did not know what it was until I walked over a put my hand in the place in the rock, that is when a lady walked over and told me what the jand print in the rock was.

That was the first and the last time I saw the rock.

The rock is found directly behind the old Leonardtown Jail in historic Leonardtown, right to the side of the circuit court. It's nothing too special, especially since weathering has taken a beating on it. If you want to check out a neat place nearby try Tudor Hall which was built in the 1700's I believe. It houses the existing St. Mary's County historical society.:yay:

I used to live in the mountains around Gettysburg, Pa. I couldn't believe the number of haunted sites in Gettysburg and the superstitions of the people that lived in the mountains. I myself never saw anything strange. A guy that I was dating worked in a building on the square of Gettysburg. He was in the buildings basement late one night and saw someone down the hallway out of the corner of his eye. When he turned his head to look there was no one there. He said the hair stood up on his neck and he was still freaked about it when he told me.

I'm going to Gettyburg next weekend to go camping next to the Esinhower Farm.
