Don't think so. I did a comparison of the Ninja 500 and the Suzuki GS500 when I was shopping for a new bike and guess what? The Ninja had better fuel consumption, better acceleration, better handling, a higher top speed, and weighed less.

why not get something newer?
I havent seen a gs500 in a long time

I actually compared a lot of different bikes. I'd like to get a 600cc bike, but most feel too heavy for me. The only one that seems to fit me is the SV650...it's lighter.

Check out the pic 11. Notice the cruise rider with the passenger in the foreground.

Pic 12 has him going down....

and the guy next a little further from them with the black jacket with the reflective stripe and blue and black helmet...yeah he has his back tire locked up with smoke pouring out in pic 11...

in pic 12 you can see it piled up with the others laying on its right side...dont see the rider anywhere but im sure he highsided and is on the other side, or underneath, the pile up...


what a horrible day that mustve been....

Is Summit Point the nearest track? I know they host track days now and then...
