I personaly don't care if the radio in his car is better then your's. But I do care that the bastered is inconsidered of others around him. I my self have upgraded my speakers and when it's late or i'm in a neighborhood or next to some one at a light I turn my speakers off until I get away from them. I like the base and it makes the drive go by faster in most cases for me.

But if your all SO upset about these load systems then you should all be pissed off about those damn bikers with the mufflers that when their going all of 2 mph they shake the windows of your house or you child is in the back seat at a light and they take off and the child starts crying because it scares them.

If it's good for the goose it's good for the gander, right?

I do get pizzed about the bikers. It is possible to keep it to a low roar when one needs to be considerate of others. We've had bikers that lived in our neighborhood who putt putt 'til they get out of the hood to keep the noise down, and we've had one or two who make as much noise as possible getting out of the hood. This particular thread is about car stereo noise, so that's what I responded to.

I hear you brother man! I've been complaining about this for years and the cops won't do anything about it. By the time I call the cops, the loud C"rap" noise is long gone and if I tell the cops the tag number, they tell me to file a complaint and identify the person in court and then they'll get a ticket. I have to do their job and put my home & life in jeopardy for this lazy cop? NOT! I call everyday until they deal with the problem, I've spoken to cops in my driveway and I wrote a letter to the Sheriff about his boys not resolving this situation. It's hopeless! Years ago a cop would go to the house, knock on the door and tell the person about the complaint and that usually would be the end of it. Today these glory hounds say:"call us back if it happens again"! And they wonder why we take the law into our own hands!

In order for a cop to write a ticket, he has to have witnessed the “crime” or there must be a witness who will testify. A few months ago, my wife was broadsided by someone some a-hole who ran a red light. Cops were called and were able to write a ticket against the red light runner because my wife had two witnesses willing to testify that he ran the red light and my wife had the green light.
