Power with Control
I do believe it was Hamid Karzai.
I will be talking to my son in the next few days, I will ask again and pay better attention to what he tells me.
So the airport we evacuated at the end. When we talk about stuff left behind, I think folks are generally talking about the stuff we left at the bases for the Afghan Army, which they just left during their retreat. We should have bombed the crap out of those places and denied the Taliban those weapons.

“the photo is a forgery; it is not genuine. Trudeau’s face was edited onto someone else’s picture. The original source of the picture is unknown, but a reverse image search places the image as far back as 2008.

The picture has turned into a meme over the years. Jake Paul, a YouTuber and novice boxer, found his face edited onto the picture, as have several other people.

The picture was reposted again in late May in an apparent attempt to smear Trudeau. It is not clear whether the Twitter user produced this forgery themselves, or took it from somewhere else.”

Here Are the GOP Traitors Who Joined Dems to Shred Our Gun Rights

Betrayal isn’t a shocking move from the GOP anymore. In the Senate, you can always count on Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Mitt Romney (R-UT) to do the wrong thing. You can always count on Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) to do the wrong thing. You have other Senate Republicans wanting to hash out a deal on immigration during this midterm cycle. Some of the same folks want to hash out a deal on gun control. There are cracks in the line, and Democrats will find ways to exploit that and cause disruption. The only issue is that the terrible economy overshadows all. In the wake of the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, the call for gun control has become deafening despite all the evidence showing that every proposal Democrats are clamoring for wouldn’t have prevented the shooting.

A background check was performed when shooter Salvador Ramos purchased his guns. Should it have been rejected? Yes, the address which belonged to Salvador Ramos’ grandfather should have raised a red flag. Ramos’ grandfather has a criminal record. He publicly said he cannot own or be around firearms. The kid was known for starting fights, slashing his face, and shooting people around town with a BB gun. He was trouble.

Yet, we just must do something. Even if it’s unconstitutional, we must do something. That’s always a recipe for disaster when the political class comes to that conclusion about any issue. The House was always going to pass something insane. It’s going to suffer legislative death in the Senate. It could lead to primary challenges for the Republicans who signed off on this debacle. Well, ten of them decided to join the Left’s crusade to shred our constitutional rights. Ten Republicans decided to back the bill that would increase the age limit to buy long guns (via Business Insider):
Lawmakers in the House of Representatives voted in favor of raising the age from 18 to 21 for semi-automatic weapon purchases in response to the mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York.

The 228-199 vote occurred largely along party lines, with two Democrats voting against the bill and 10 Republicans siding with the Democrat-led proposed legislation.
The age hike was part of a package of gun safety bills known as the Protecting Our Kids Act, introduced by Rep. Jerry Nadler, which was broken up into certain gun policies, including prohibiting the sale of ammunition magazines with a capacity of more than 15 rounds, to pressure GOP congresspeople resistant to tighter gun laws.

Just one more incremental step in taking away our 2nd. Amendment rights.
Step by step they are cooking that frog.
We need real Republicans in Congress and the Republicans need a real leader instead of the Turtle and McCarthy.

Micro stamping the next gun control scheme to come to Maryland. Mark my words. California has the requirement, New York is working on it. Maryland will follow suit.

I would be more concerned with putting real Conservatives in Marylands Statehouse before one needs to worry about what goes on inside of the DC Beltway.

Indiana has about 6 million residents, we have about a million that have firearm permits, and now we have Constitutional Carry to that. With all these firearms carried everyday we still have have three "what are called" mass shootings this year.
Many that carry want to believe they belong in the "fight" crowd, the reality is they belong in the "flight" crowd.

Its like being banned here, one can be banned two, three or four times and they keep returning with impunity.

The problem is fixing crazy, nobodys really interested in fixing crazy.

Support for 'assault weapons' ban hits all-time low following Uvalde shooting: Poll

New polling shows that support for an "assault weapons" ban in the United States has hit an all-time low despite calls from Democrats to implement a ban following a deadly mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

In a Quinnipiac University poll, conducted last week and published on Tuesday, 50 percent of registered voters support a nationwide ban on semi-automatic long guns compared to 45% who oppose which represents the lowest level of support since February 2013 when Quinnipiac began asking that question.

The highest level of support for the ban was 67% in February 2018, days after the Parkland school shooting that left 17 people dead.

"Nearly a decade after the school shooting at Sandy Hook and in the midst of a raging partisan and emotional debate, the assault weapon maintains a foothold, as calls for outlawing ownership hit their lowest level," Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said.

Matthew McConaughey gun control plea reax: Dems making direct effort to destroy 2nd amendment, says Rep Jordan

During an interview on ‘Mornings with Maria,’ Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, discusses gun control policy reform in response to actor and Uvalde, Texas native, Matthew McConaughey's powerful call to action at the White House.

REP. JIM JORDAN: I think the Democrats are going to be able to pass some things in the House. But what they're trying to do is just a total attack, total repeal of the Second Amendment. I mean, Joe Biden said a couple of weeks ago that we want to get rid of 9mm handguns. That's the most common handgun in the country. Michael Moore said it's time to repeal the Second Amendment. During our markup in Judiciary last week on one of the bills that will be on the floor today, the Democrats target Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, said we're not finished yet. We're going to do more after this bill. And Mondaire Jones says if this bill doesn't pass, if we can't limit guns across America and attack the Second Amendment.

He says, we're going to get rid of the filibuster, expand the Supreme Court, and do whatever it takes. So this is a direct effort to destroy the Second Amendment, and that's what we got to understand. In Mr.
McConaughey's remarks yesterday, there were a lot of good things he said about mental health, about securing schools, about traditional values. But when it comes to infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens and infringing on Second Amendment liberties of law-abiding Americans, that's something we should not do. And I am totally opposed to that, as I think most Americans are.

CNN op-ed calls for repeal of the Second Amendment: ‘Let's just get rid of it’

"The only effective way to deal with the Second Amendment is to repeal it — and then replace it with something that makes sense in a civilized society," Press wrote for CNN in an article titled "There’s no way to fix the Second Amendment. Let’s just get rid of it."

"I'm hardly the first person to say that the Second Amendment has been a disaster for this country. In fact, two Supreme Court justices — justices appointed by Republican presidents — have said as much," he added.

Twitter roasts George Takei for gun control tweet that accidentally supports 2nd Amendment

Conservative commentator John Cardillo asked, "Who wants to tell Unhinged Sulu that he’s making the best argument for individual unrestricted gun ownership and constitutional carry?"

"Thanks for acknowledging the entire reason the 2nd amendment is so important, genius," tweeted The Blaze host Sara Gonzales.

Actor Matthew Marsden mocked Takei, tweeting, "Damn right! Wouldn't that be awesome?!!! They should be armed and never give up their arms again, just in case. In fact, better still, make it a right. I think I have the words... ‘the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’ Just in case. You know..."
