For your consideration ...

Here is some awesome help and advise to help you fight your current illness, and to maintain good health, (four of many educational videos), from Dr. Berg, who btw has his practice in Alexandria VA. I cannot stress enough how accurate and important is what he teaches. Just give some it a try. The Keto, or Keto-style, way to eat and live, intermittent fasting and/or prolonged fasting, is a lifestyle diet change that will benefit you. I speak from personal experience. Watch these videos, then, look over some others and slowly start to integrate them into your life. You will be amazed at the body's ability to heal itself without the need for doctor or modern medical interventions.

BTW, eating the Keto way, simply, or better explained, is the omission of all sugars, processed foods, and refined carbohydrates from your diet. And only foods that are natural, as nature intended, in origin. But please, if you start, hopefully, give yourself and your body time to adjust. Follow it for a minimum of six months, before you start to treat yourself, in small quantities. There is no instant gratification.

Also, you may very well be extremely low on your Vitamin D levels. As I've explained in past posts to others; at around the time of the fall equinox, the sun's UVB rays, (which are responsible for the production of Vitamin D when exposed to your skin), cannot get through the atmosphere at our latitude due to the angle of the earth relative to the sun. This is when people start getting sick because their vitamin D levels start declining and is not replenished from their diet. Come the spring equinox is when the sun's UVB rays can once again penetrate the atmosphere at our latitude, then we can start to produce Vitamin D again from skin exposure. This is the reason people always get sick, every year, like clockwork. It is a natural cycle. Vitamin D being the supreme immune system booster to ward of the bugs, along with other vitamins and minerals one gets from a good natural diet. [A nifty note: That on a warm winter day, you can stand in the sun long enough to still get a sunburn, but without your skin producing Vitamin D.] I wish you well.
Thanks. I do have a Vit D deficiency so I take a synthetic version 1 X per week and knowing how vital Vit D is to fighting off viruses makes me better about remembering to take it. My Thyroid hasn't been working well (under achiever) for many years so am also on a RX for that. I have done a lot of research over the years about herbal remedies so have been adding dark berries and dark leafy greens to my diet along with taking supplements with my multivitamin. The NO SUGAR part might be what KILLS ME though LOL as I am not sure what would happen if I stopped all sugar intake? My body might SEIZE UP instead of feeling revived LOL as with most Americans, I have become so habituated to sugar being in everything. As far as fasting, I get a severe headache and my body starts shaking if I don't eat for more than 12 hours so that's not a good option for me. I am a weirdo that doesn't drink Coffee and I drink hot tea with cream & sugar.

warmest months - June, July and August - even though MOST of Septermber is technically "summer".
As someone that pretty much has lived his entire life along the coast, I can tell you that I prefer going to the beach in September than I do in June. The real kicker is the warmth of the ocean water. In June, along the mid east coast of the US, the water is still quite cold. But come September, after a summer of warming, the water is quite pleasant. And in tourist locations, they are back home, so you can recreate and not be bothered by a swarm of humanity.

You start to feel better very quickly. I was having an issue with blood sugar, pre-pre diabetic. Got a glucose tester and monitored my blood sugar 6 times a day until I figured out what the culprits were. And surprise surprise, anything with sugar and carbs. Cut them both out of my diet. Getting rid of sugar was easier than the carbs, substituted the yellow package stuff, and simply stopped eating anything with real sugar. You find workarounds.

The carbs were much harder. Big thing was bread. I love bread and it killed me to not have toast with my eggs, or a simple sandwich or mashed 'taters. But it paid off. Lost 30 pounds, best doc checkup ever after 8 months. I cheat a little bit lately, and especially around the holidays. If I have real sugar now, I get a headache.

September, October and November have always been my favorite times on the water. Cool dry still air, warm water. And quiet, because no one else is out. Best boating, best diving, best seafood for the taking.

We liked to go RIGHT AFTER LABOR DAY. Crowds are gone, rooms are cheap, and a few shops are still open.

I never can understand the popularity of beaches anywhere north of, say, Virginia. The water is ALWAYS COLD. REALLY COLD. I had friends who'd go to the beaches in New England.

In the tropics - the water is warm. All the time.

You need to get more boosters. The authorities are pretty clear you won't catch the 'Rona if you get shotted and booostered.....
Why yes, yes I do ..... NOT!

Because of where I work around young children that spend half their time with their fingers inside their various bacteria-laden body parts, I have had to alter my normal NO VACCINES FOR ME approach to saying yes to the vaccine with the LEAST AMOUNT OF TESTING in the hope that it will save my life. The only vaccine I have received as an adult prior to Covid was Tetanus due to stepping on a rusty nail that penetrated into my foot deeply.

Why I got the Covid 19 Vaccine: In December 2019 I became ill with what Patient First described as a very bad COLD VIRUS (I tested negative for the Flu). This virus was still raging in my body a month later and I was barely able to breathe. By February I was feeling better but I never regained my ability to breathe freely and my cough lingered on and on. Realizing that I probably had Covid, I was open to getting the vaccine if it could make my suffering LESS than what I had just been though that should have put me in the hospital to get help breathing (I refused to go to the hospital). I had a CT of my lungs and was told I had Covid Lung Damage. The RX inhaler I was prescribed to use (primarily for COPD) has bad side affects so after trying it I have opted not to use it.

The updated Omicron Booster was supposed to be released in June 2022 but was not. When I got a Booster in August just prior to school re-starting I ASSumed I was getting the updated Booster but later learned it was the same one I had previously 😿 and then ..... I get sick 10/5 and the suffering starts again but thankfully it was less intense this time however it lasted 8 weeks and I still feel tired. Fearing I will get this Omicron version of the virus again, I wanted the updated Booster, however it is my hope to make this the LAST Booster I get as I hope to make this my last school year around children. Then I'll be back to no Vaccines again? Has anyone here had Shingles? How bad was it? What about Pneumococcal Pneumonia? Was that bad? Did someone die from it? OMG getting old has me asking so many questions  .

That's what I hear people say .... they feel better and that sugar feeds so many bad things in our bodies. Just the artery issues alone are enough to make one think twice about continuing to eat sugar. I'm assuming there is nothing to substitute for sugar that isn't just as damaging?

Everything on the planet is damaging in one way or another. You just have to pick your battles. For me, the potential side effects of Sucralose were far less than the elevated blood sugar levels could be.

Is it OK to use Splenda everyday?
Health effects of Splenda. The FDA says that sucralose is safe — capping the recommended maximum intake at 23 packets a day, or about the equivalent of 5.5 teaspoons.Jun 26, 2020

What are the long-term effects of Splenda?

Yet scientists haven't found any direct negative health effects in people who consume sucralose long-term. That's true both for healthy people and those with diabetes. “While sucralose may cause problems at higher doses, most people consume nowhere near that amount,” says Patton.Jan 12, 2021
Consuming too much of any artificial sweetener may cause diarrhea, bloating, gas, or have a laxative effect in some people. There is also the possibility of an allergic reaction, so it is important to pay attention to any changes in the body.
1 packet of Splenda is equiv to 2 teaspoons of sugar in sweetness, so 23 packets is equiv to 46 teaspoons of sugar. I use maybe 4 or 5 packets a day. Not even on the radar.

I think I will try to use half sugar/half Sucralose to start to see if I can handle that.

I honestly believe that the vaccine suppresses your immune response. EVERY person I know that has been vaxxed has had covid at least once after the vax. One has died (my sister=in-law) and TWO have had major strokes. Call me crazy if you want, but I will take my chances. I love you Ark, that's why I will say this OUT LOUD.

Also I do not personally know one person who had covid before they got the jab. Make of that what you will.

There is product called SweetLeaf which is made from the stevia leaf, all natural and not damaging in the least.

Thanks. I do have a Vit D deficiency so I take a synthetic version 1 X per week and knowing how vital Vit D is to fighting off viruses makes me better about remembering to take it. My Thyroid hasn't been working well (under achiever) for many years so am also on a RX for that. Synthetic vitamins, and more or less all multi-vitamins are synthetic, do not uptake in the body because they foreign, not natural, to the body. Similar to taking synthetic B vitamins, the body cannot uptake them and you then just pee them out. And you can tell this because your urine will be bright yellow. You need to take a natural form of Vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol. Such as this brand, or any other high quality natural brand. Also, Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin, (as well as Vitamins A, E, and K), which means in order for your body to absorb and uptake it, it must be taken with a meal that has fat in it, such as from butter, fat from meats, or EEVO. You should also take vitamin K2 in a proper ratio since it is K2 that tells the body where to put the calcium where is belongs, in your bones and teeth, not being deposited in muscle tissue and elsewhere, as well as too much in the blood. So, the short of it .... Vitamin D3 is not only an immune system booster, it is a carrier for calcium, and K2 tells the body where to put it. You might hear of fear porn related to hypercalcemia, too much calcium in the blood, when taking supplemental vitamin D3. But what they don't say, is that when taking appropriate amounts of K2 with D3, this is negated.

To help support your thyroid, you can take iodine and selenium. The thyroid requires iodine, you could be iodine deficient. This is a good source for a solution of potassium iodide and iodine. You only need 1 or 2 drops per day, in your tea or whatever, so the bottle lasts a long time.

As far as fasting and your headache and shaking. You should ensure your electrolytes, (sodium, calcium, magnesium and potassium), are at sufficient levels by taking a product such as Natural Vitality CALM, a supplement powder added to water then drank, when doing a fast. Especially good for women since many are deficient in magnesium and is necessary mineral. When your body becomes low in electrolytes, it doesn't feel good at all and that is what you are most likely experiencing when you tried to fast. So try that. Btw, use sea salt or Himalayan pink salt, instead of table salt. Much better for you.

When you stop eating sugar, and refined carbohydrates, (along with possessed foods), your body will start to convert fats from your diet, and your body fat, into ketones for fuel, the body's preferred energy source. Which gives you good long energy levels.

I remember learning that having a large amount of ketone bodies in your system was bad for your health. I don't want to research this now, but something about burning body fat incompletely once the liver & muscles' stored glycogen was depleted.
