I fixed it.
Meant to say I think you did.

Check again. Next time you'll believe me when I tell you I didn't give you karma. Only next time, it'll hurt.

There are tons of dogs without mental issues that need a home. I don't understand why it's so wrong to put a dog down that can't seem to get along in society. In fact, I wish they would do the same for some humans... know what I'm saying...

Yep got it. And, got Do What's. Everyone has their opinion..

That wasn't an opinion, it was an assumption. Just for that, the next one will be red. Azzwipe.

Thanks, but I was just saying that everyone has their opinion's whether you had one or not - wasn't trying to be a azzwipe.

You're doing the right thing babygurl. :peace:
Yes she is, she was put into a bad situation by the previous owners making her believe that they had him for a long time. It was a bad situation from the start.
BUT most rottie owners have to be smarter than the dog also, smart dogs are not for first time dog owners.
I know it's too late now, as it is more and likely back at the shelter. He was probably mistreated to begin with and thats why he came from the shelter or he could have had aggressive lines from backyard breeders.
It's to bad she didn't contact a rottie rescue group, they would have worked with him and found him a suitable home.
Sorry for your bad luck with your adoption. :flowers:

Maybe a rescue group could have helped. However, I have not had luck with such groups in the past. I was in a very, very similar situation a while ago and contacted every Rott rescue group I could find. They were all full of 2 year old females and could not take any more. While it seems they would have taken on a different kind of Rott (such as a younger pup), they would not take an adolecent female. Perhaps that dynamic has changed over time though.

"Why should rescuers be obligated to take on your mistakes?"

Who's giving out red Karma? Rescuers aren't obligated to take on anything. As for my "mistake", that was trying to help my SIL - not a mistake in my book.
