Live the fantasy!!
Yes

Was responding to the women on bikes comment. There is something to be said for the empowerment of a woman on a bike!! :flowers: :flowers: I love the fact that it was something I wanted to do and I did it and now I realize how scared I was and I got through it -- it gives me a feeling like I've never ever experienced and you won't find anywhere else .!!

Ride free, ride safe!!

Live the fantasy!!
No way

Nah -- but I like that feeling it gave me -- what a rush!! -- I was so scared I rode my sons Kawasaki around my property in first gear for months before I got the courage to buy a real bike and then I rode that one around my yard for months in first gear and then the end of my street until I felt comfortable -- I read everything I could and then I took it out on the rode for that first ride -- wouldn't you know it -- a cop was behind me the whole way talk about scared -- then I couldn't turn around and he pulled up beside me and said "Are you okay?" "You have your license don't you"? :lmao: :lmao: I only had my permit in my pocket (thank god) and I just shook my head and said "Oh Yes Officer of course, I'm just very new and I am doing what they told me in class to just take my time and don't get intimidated". Hope that cop isn't on the forum and he doesn't remember (Just Joking).

There's something downright SEXY about a woman that rides a bike.

Wow, I just got my first gray karma for posting women who ride bikes are sexy... Was it a sexist remark? Were you offended because you don't ride a bike? I don't know because you didn't leave a note. So I'll respond by saying... Bite me!

Women who drive muscle cars or jeeps with the top down are pretty high on the list too. :flowers:

I think women who ride are sexy too!!

Hope I don't get any grey for saying that :flowers: :killingme : that's too bad -- maybe like the grey-karma poster needs to get over themselves it seems -- ya think.....!!! Are you sure it was for that remark?

Life is short -- it should be fun!!

I gives only green karmas!! Why do we have bad karma anyway? I'm new so don't blast me for my blasphemy....or lack there of.

Yup, the gray karma was linked to the post I quoted above. who knows what she was thinking?

Pssst... the sender of the gray karma could of intended red or green... you wouldn't know whether it was supposed to be positive karma or negative karma unless the included a note stating such.

What? Now I'm just plain confused... All I see is "approve" or "disapprove" as options.

:flowers: Taking notes, 1. There is luke warm karma. :bubble:
Grey means they don't have enough posts (50) or points to send Karma..

The approve is GREEN karma (good), and disapprove is RED karma (BAD)..

Right now it's "ride slow" for me......real slow, just down the street. Haven't been on since early November, but am looking forward to learning more. :howdy:

That's definintely the way to go. Take your time and build your confidence and riding skills. Find a riding buddy or two that ride at a pace your comfortable with and go out as a group when you're ready to go on longer stretches. It makes the trip more fun and safer in the event of an emergency or malfunction.

I haven't been on a bike in some years myself and have just been taking things easy. Mysticalmoms old man lead a nice leisurely pace when we all went out a couple weeks ago which was fine by me.
