I haven't been on a bike in some years myself and have just been taking things easy. Mysticalmoms old man lead a nice leisurely pace when we all went out a couple weeks ago which was fine by me.

It was rough.. SIlvia was chompin at the reigns and wanted to run on Mattapany and the other windy roads.. was a little below my normal speed on those roads.

But agree, for the first group ride was a good pace.

You have a few years experience on me and those on better bikes too

I was looking forward to going out this weekend for a good ride maybe hitting the blue boobs/balls poker run but weather.com is calling for rain and colder temps. Damn!!

You should of came out for the SCRC New Years Day Ride.. That was a LOT of fun..

I picked up my Truck Yesterday at Cheseldines, then drove back home and picked up the bike. it was TOO nice out. Got in about 100 miles yesterday.. was sitting in my office thinking of excuses to go out and ride.. meeting here, lunch there.. back to pax to pick this up, then to Webster to this task.. Fun day

Bungeed myself to the passenger backrest and followed along.. but have to remember, when they are scraping footrests I still have about 10 degrees of lean left..

Hey lady, slow is okay -- I haven't been on mine since end of August -- but it all comes back to you! One things for sure no matter how good a rider I become I have decided I will never like left turns no matter how much I try, I really don't like left turns -- don't call me Zoolander now (ever seen that movie?). I was trying to talk myself into riding this weekend but if its 40 degrees no ####ing way. Save it for another day I say.

Soon as it warms up though be glad to get some practice in if you want a riding buddy just ask.

I still don't even have my permit, but have started studying for it. Life got in the way. Then I need to take a class, but once I get the permit, I can start practicing in parking lots instead of on my street.

Nope, if you don't sign, there is no way (okay ONE way) to find out who it is from.. that's what makes Karma so fun!!

I personally like the unsigned, uncommented gray karma. All I know is that somebody thinks something about one of my posts

Gray karma is zero-power karma. That can be either from a person not being here long enough (need 50 posts) or having negative points.

Sometimes when I send Karma all it says is I must spread more reputation around before giving karma again so I don't get all the workings of the forums either -- :shrug: nice to know I'm not alone in the ass category so its all good -- live and learn -- now WHERE'S SPRING so we can ride .....?

Why are you waiting for spring? Today and tomorrow are perfect days for riding.

LoL! I make an ASS out of myself all the time. I figure if I can't laugh at myself, I may as well make somebody else laugh at me. Or something like that.

EVERY day is Spring down here.. no reason you can't be a rounder in southern MD..
