Sadly, older than most of you all and do remember the backseat of a corvair at a drive in movie theater off of indian head highway. That was back in the dark ages, not even going to bring up super chief, or central avenue drive ins back in the prehistoric days.

I'm going to be serious for a minute! Back when we were having our only bathroom renovated in the rambler in the 'Dorf, we weren't able to schedule some of the work around my night schedule. I only needed a place to sleep from 8 am (when I got home from work) until about 1pm when I would get up and get ready to head back into work. It sucked trying to find a place that would rent me a room that I could use after the regular check out hours. The hotels in the Dorf all wanted to charge me late check out...for a room I didn't even spend the night in. It didn't go well for the two days I had to do it. Maid service knocked on the door several times and then started calling the room to find out when I'd be out. I got about 3 hours of sleep. :-/ I'd have loved a (CLEAN) hourly rate place to sleep.

Okay, back to the frivolity, you pervs. :buddies:

my HS GF and I went parking at all of them 82-84 in that Panel Truck .. great for sneaking other people in as well, it was dark in back with the windows blacked out

posers cruising in front of the 2 screen Waldorf Movie theater .... [before the MALL]

I never knew there was a Central Ave Drive in

in those days, Hillside played XXX ... IIRC

excuse me .......
..... I had fun in he back seat of a VW Beetle twice in the 80's

[set the seat on fire ... when we shorted the springs across the battery]

:faint:

:killingme

reminds me, a buddy had a little rambler but the passenger seat laid flat with the back seat - we called it the bedmobile. Everyone wanted to borrow it for date night.

Same here, but i think a little earlier than you, went to Potomac Sr. High School and lived in Birchwood City for my Senior Year. I think you may be approx. 10 years younger than me. When you and gf were cruising in the panel truck, i was working at PAX, NESEA, Indian Head NEOD, and Dahlgen.

Surely you jest ...
Wow... I stomped those grounds too.

Woohoo... Birchwood City brings back memories too. Many of my friends lived there in the day. I was over the line in SE/SW neighborhood. My first job was in Oxon Hill shopping center at Vals Hair Salon as a apprentice beautician.

:coffee:

..and the 1 hour thing depends on who's at the check-in desk at the time at any given Hotel/Motel. Or Notell Motel as we called Mr.Wicks.

Most, or a lot of, women don't like it in the backseat....

It's one of those "icky things".

...and why go for the back seat when you both are already in the front?

but, my problem wasn't that, it was those pesky people who would stroll by. . .but after about 45 minutes the windows would be all fogged up even that wouldn't matter.

There's aftermarket window tint now; don't have to wait for the windows to get fogged up.....I'm guessing:whistle:

Do you like apples?
Yes, I have hooked up with 48 women who found my phone number on the bathroom wall at the Olive Garden.

Wow, only 48 from Olive Garden? The way you've talked about OG, I thought there would be more.

So how many from Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, and Cracker Barrel?
